WG we once stayed in holiday home where our en suite shower was like your curved one. Quite snug in there!

OH came home with lovely new hearing aids. Fingers crossed they are a success. So far so good.

There were some very bad comments about Temu, on line, mainly to do with materials used and difficulty returning items. They might have put that right of course

Plant,the tops i have from Temu are lovely fabric,and they wash nice.
Don't know about returning things,i haven't had to do it.

Been to see MIL , what a difference in a few days ,
Shes walking about on her own now getting herself washed and dressed, in and out of bed ,
One of my nieces went this afternoon and took her out in the wheelchair around the grounds .
First time she has been out in 7 weeks she really enjoyed herself.

GS3 day today. GS1 will be coming for an hour or so late afternoon when his parents go for a meeting at school. The 2 boys will be pleased to see each other ( and the other 2 GC will be envious it's not them seeing the little one )

Been to opticians had the full works,
Had the new eye X-ray thingy , they again found the start of a cataract but said it’s no bigger than it was in 2022.
Need to go back next week as my left eye had higher pressure than my right so want to check again.

Chose my glasses, gone for vari focal’s again.

From there we went to Superdrug’s to get a few bits MIL wanted then to Aldi.

I went down to the garden centre a few days ago to the outdoor fruit stall they have and we bought some tiny jersey potatoes.
We had them last night and they were lovely, so we going down again after lunch see if they still have them in.

Quite a painful morning, my fault, I try not to take too much codine. I have a hospital appt in the morning tomorrow (nothing to do with my ribs) so I will make sure I take enough.

Good news about Mil Oma, presumably she will be home soon. Love the little jersey potatoes

I presume Daisy will be home this weekend, I do hope they have had a restful holiday.

Finally I hve a new iPad and can get on here to chat again. I had been having problems with it for ages and finally decided to treat myself!
I hope all is well with everyone. I am off tomorrow with the family for a Week in Devon, staying just outside Bideford. Had a small blip this morning when I had an email from the Holiday company to say that the house we had booked had had a water leak and we would be unable to stay there! Luckily the owner had another place nearby so offered us that instead. It’s huge, and in a lovely position so we snapped it up. We don’t have to pay any more even thought it’s twice the price of our original one so that was a good deal. Weather not looking good but it will be a nice break for us all.

its been lovely here this week, so we’ve made the most of it and I’ve been sorting out the garden.

All I hear about is that it’s so many days to C………s! Wish they wouldn’t do that, I know Daisy agrees with me. Bah humbug 😀. I’ll keep in touch now that I’m able , Have a good weekend everyone.

Hallo everyone, Enfys, I agree with you on the C.......... plans! It has been lovely here all this week as well, warm actually.

You were lucky to get another house offered for the holidays, DS1 is looking for a cottage in Devon for next summer, they may have already found one, he is in Munich at the moment, business meeting and Octoberfest, seems a little early. I have just read, it is from the 21st to October 6th.

Oma, I do hope your MIL gets home and does as she is told! You will be pleased with your new specs, do you have to wait long?

Gem, you will have had a busy day with the GC.

I went to the market in Delft, there is a fair in the town centre so the market was where the Saturday market is, it took me a while to find the material man, he wasn't there a fortnight ago, one of the others told me that he had to go to the hospital with his wife, I asked him how she was, not good, breast cancer!! 56 years old, he said one week they were all away on a family holiday and the next was in the breast clinic. They have to go tomorrow to find out about the treatment etc.

I went to the sport school this morning for the new schedule to help my knee's, if anyone had told me 20 years ago that I would be doing "bridges" and "scrunchies" at my age I would never have believed them!!

Oma, the boys did have a lovely time together thank you. So much so that when poor DD3 arrived back from work GS3 told her to 'Go away mummy '! Presumably for fear of her immediately whisking him away from his cousin!
GS1 did the whole day at school today and talked enthusiastically about some of his classes.

I have been very tired this evening and falling asleep which is not unusual for me.
