      Good morning. Nice and bright.

      I'm determined to tidy and clean the crockery cupboard today.
      I did throw out 2 old plastic thingamies yesterday, so that's a
      start.

      Dinner is fish fingers, sliced crispy potatoes and beans.
      Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

        Thats what I was saying the other day I have too much crockery,
        Im going to sort it and take it to the charity shop at some point.

        We have sunshine but there is a nip in the air,
        We are going into Sunderland this morning, never been for about 10 years even though we are Sunderland born and bred.
        Have a look at the changes, we most likely won’t recognise anywhere.
        We have hospital tonight ,
        SIL said MIL was up dressed and had been for a few walks up and down the corridor and was in good spirits.
        There is a Black nurse called David who she likes and trusts so he took her walking yesterday 😁

          Glad MIL is a bit mobile.

          I don't think i'll have anything to throw away from the crockery cupboard,but it will get cleaned and rearranged.

            Good morning everyone.

            Very cold start here but sunny now.

            Well done David getting Oma's MIL up and about

            I bet we have lots of things to throw away if we ever get down to sorting those sort of drawers Nan2!

            I had an appointment with the senior practitioner/physio at the surgery this morning. She was a lovely lady and gave a lot of time. I had been waiting ages for an appointment and they gave me one for when I was on holiday. They then offered me this morning which I didn't feel I could refuse. It meant I had to miss aquafit unfortunately.
            She listened to me and thoroughly examined my knee, back etc and watched my range of movement,
            Basically she doesn't think my right (non operated) knee needs any treatment at present and maybe won't ever. She says my hip and pelvis are weak on that side and adding to my back and mobility problems.
            So for now, keep on with my aqua and massages, and she is sending me some exercises for back and hip. Give it a couple of months and see if that helps.
            She was impressed with my left knee, and said she can tell I have been doing my exercises

            Luckily it is my monthly massage this afternoon as my hip is a bit sore where she manipulated it!

                Keep up the good work Gem.

                I did the crockery cupboard this morning. Nothing got thrown away,but i have rearranged it.
                After dinner, i cut the grass,so just had a lovely refreshing shower.
                Weather has been warm and sunny.
                Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

                    Thanks everyone. She sent me exercises for back, hips etc, also some information on osteoarthritis of the spine and neck, which I have had for years .

                    I had wanted an X-ray of my knee to see what stage it is at. Sadly due to NHS cuts they now only send you if you are in so much pain they think you are at joint replacement stage!

                      MIL was on top form tonight , chatty and laughing and moving well.
                      She got into bed before we left as you could see she was tired,
                      Hasnt had oxygen at all today so that’s good .
                      Im not fat just 6ft too small

                          Good morning, I think another nice day is forecast.

                          I'm going into town with hubby, when he goes to meet his pal.
                          Not going for anything special, I just fancy going out for a couple of hours.
                          I'll probably stock up at the butchers.
                          Dinner will be a pizza bunged in the oven.

                            Oma, lovely to hear MIL is going well.

                            Plant, I hope your pain is easing.

                            Daisy although you won't read this (not yet anyway) I hope it's fine where you are and you are having a lovely holiday.

                            Another fine and sunny day is forecast here. Library morning for me and GS1 later. I will update about him later.
