    Morning ladies
I am not speaking to B, he is refusing to go now he said he feels a bit better, clearly a lie by just looking at him.
DD tried and usually he listens to her but he's having none of it stupid stupid man 😡
I am so angry with him . I'm saying nothing or it will end in a row and I haven't the energy for that.
    Why are men so stubborn.
He is usually a very easy going man but if he says no to something he means it so what can I do ,
I can't physically lift him into the car and force him there,

    Anyway,
    Gem
Sounds like Aunty G is going to be busy , I'm so glad you had a nice day with her.
I do hope the pharmacist can help it's no fun is it , especially when you have lots to do ,
Do you think DDs are coming down with this virus? I hope not .

    Daisy
J is brave doing the carpets this time of year 😁
Having said that I used to decorate every year before I put the tree up, not anymore I couldn't be bothered now 😁
Doesn't things seem to catch up with you quickly ,
I usually have the cards posted around the neighbours by now, not many cards by anyone are being posted this year.

    Nanto
I like those chicken bacon lattice cold with a salad .
Love the Dragon very cute made me smile 😁

    Plant
Hope the movers enjoyed there night in the new house,
    When will you be visiting?
I bet SIL slept well all that moving furniture around.

DD said she will pop over sometime today,
I hope she can talk some sense into her dad.

Oma, I hope B will listen to his DD and agree to get some help. Is his immune system affected with all that he went through.?

GD and her partner popped over last evening to watch Strictly with us. They slept well on their mattress on the floor. They are off to Yorkshire to visit his family and have an early Christmas with them. I am planning to go and visit them after Christmas.

Gemini, Your Auntie keeps busy, I am sure she enjoys your visits very much.

It is Plant , it's not at full function like normal people that's what worries me.
He is however having an early lunch , he hasn't ate for days so that's an improvement.
DD been with menthol crystals for him to try clear his sinuses, she couldn't persuade him so we will see how he does.

I do hope B will feel better soon, such a worry for you.

H has just helped me with my very small tree, she loved putting the ornaments on it, not always in the right place. H then had a picnic on my sitting room floor, big Ted was invited.

Nanto I must try that chicken and bacon pie, it sounds tasty.

I'd be annoyed too Oma. Nothing you can do though. You can't force B to go.
Good sign that he has eaten xx

A picnic with H and your little tree put up sounds lovely Plant.

I got a 3 day course of antibiotics from the lovely young man at the pharmacy. I'm pretty sure he is the same one who did my flu jab .
Fingers crossed this gets rid of it fully.

Oma, you know what men are like when they dig their heels in.

Gem, hope the antibiotics kick in soon.
Your Auntie is certainly a social butterfly.

Plant, bless H for helping you with the tree.

For some reason i keep thinking its monday.

We've just ha d a cuppa and a slice of lemon drizzle cake, that i took out of the freezer this morning.
Even though i say it myself, the cake is very nice.

                  Mmm lemon drizzle cake Nan2

I have wrapped everything for Christmas now, and SIL3's birthday present for early January.

The Christmas tree has been up and lit for 2 days. The cats haven't bothered apart from running under it and disrupting the tree skirt.
They had a good run around in the garden this afternoon. When they were sleeping that off I added a few things to the tree. We will see how that goes then I will gradually add more

Oma, I'd be cross as well! Apart from anything else, you and your DD are worrying about him, and that's not good for you or DD. A few years ago I had a similar situation with OH. He'd had a 'funny turn' on the Saturday, and an eye injection on the Monday morning. I booked him an appointment with the GP for Monday afternoon. He refused to go, and I was really worried and cross, and in the heat of moment told him I didn't want to spend another night keep waking up to check he was still breathing! He kept the appointment. Afterwards I felt I'd been horrible, but I was genuinely worried and the GP eventually diagnosed COPD. Does B realise just how worried you are about him?

Nan2, lemon drizzle cake - I'm drooling. I love it. The trouble is, one slice is never enough.

Gem, your pharmacist sounds very helpful, and hopefully the antibiotics will cure it. It must be fun watching the kittens outside playing, and the tree decorating is going well. I should think it's hard to keep up with your Auntie with all her social activities. I think she's wonderful.

Plant, I'm sure you treasure times like this with little H. I can imagine how excited she was doing the tree with you. It's good timing for the movers. They're in their new home and will be delighted to return to it after their early Christmas in Yorkshire.

We've made some progress today. We got all the decorations out of the loft. OH put the tree up and I decorated it, but I'll keep adding more bits as I think of them. We've done some of the decorations as well, but we were both tired after a busy week. So I took Eva out for a good walk this afternoon, and OH put his feet up for a while. We were out for about an hour and when we got back my feet were aching! I don't know why except just feeling tired.

I'm going to get dinner in a minute and then put my feet up and read!

                      Enjoy your read.
Your right, one slice of lemon drizzle cake isn't enough, but i only took 2 slices out.

                              Good Monday morning, everyone.

Nanto, I'd be interested to see how your fruit loaves turn out from the air fryer. I keep promising myself I'll try banana loaf and lemon drizzle cake in mine, but I'm always worried it won't work and I've wasted my time making it!

Oma, you sound so much more yourself this morning, thank goodness. It's been a long slow recovery so don't overdo things now. Poor B, though. Was he able to sleep ok? I hope he's still eating.

Gem, have fun at Aqua. How are you feeling today? I hope the antibiotics are working. Yes, I did manage to have a quiet hour reading. I need to put some more books on my Kindle though. I'm into very light-hearted reading at the moment and have just finished "Dry Hard" by Nick Spalding. I'm also part way through "How to Read a Tree", which tells you things about trees you would never have thought of.

It's almost sunny and not too cold this morning, so OH is going to put the outside lights up and I'm tackling a huge pile of washing. Where on earth does it all come from!!

My I Pad is being silly this morning, it keeps popping up with a keyboard on the screen and insists I use it. Any ideas? It is only on here. Sil has tried to correct it but no luck.
