Morning ladies , we have the mother of all storms hear its so dark I have my lamps on and the rain is coming down in sheets ,

Sorry ladies I should have told you about Libra and T ,
T had to stay in because her sodium readings were too low this time after doubling her pills and told not to drink as much , poor girl one minute she,s not drinking enough next to much ,

The scans show the Tumour has grown so although not good in one way it is in another as now they can see where to take a Biopsy ,
Going to another Hospital either today or Saturday and Biopsy Monday /Tuesday , had to do some persuasion as she still thinks she's ok and doesn't need it

Libra been cleaning the house and getting all the washing and ironing done as well as entertaining the girls come evening shes worn out

      Well I had a interesting night ,
went to bed about 2am fell into a deep sleep only to be woken at 3.15 by a almighty pain in the top of my head and seeing stars ,
B had stretched and brought his elbow down right on the very top of my head , Gosh it was painful
He felt awful but it was a accident ( well so he says ) it took ages for the pain to go, well I was wide awake by then so came downstairs and took a couple of pain killers , I couldn't get back to sleep .
Still feels tender but its ok , I will live don't know about him if it happens again like

Enfys B has done that with his Tablets there are so many , we have a daily chart on the back of the medicine cupboard door so he can see at a glance what he needs to take as even after all this time he forgets , its Chemo brain with them hahaha

Gem they get to a age when its all this class and that class they have a busier life than us but I bet she's loving it xx

Mimi a new kitchen how exciting you must take before and after pics for us nosy ones

Daisy take it easy today rest your old bones hahaha

Plant hope the weather holds for your holiday

Thanks Daisy & Plant. Sometimes I have to throw caution to the wind & just do it knowing I'll pay for it later. It's worth it for me though as I know to plan a week free of GC & anything else that tires me following a physically demanding time.

Funny start to the day today. I'm on my way to my hospital appointment (15mins away from Sheffield), when fone rings in the car. It's the hospital...could I cancel going today or have a wait of over two hours when I get there? I cancelled. Then onto Arena to pick up tickets to give to my DD tonight when I go to babysit. Sorry, no can do says the security bloke. I have to collect them before the event starts tonight & the tickets should be for me to use/ no-one else. After more searching I can print off a permission form for DD to collect them for me. Quite cross really as none of this was mentioned when I booked online. It means that if DD can't use the ticket I'll have to take her place to be with GS. I'm supposed to be baby sitting for GS2 while mummy has a treat on a night out with her oldest boy.

Things happen in 3s....OH called at Chemist to get me a bottle of cold sore lotion as I have a shocker. They've stopped selling it now. It was their own brand too. Boo hoo... nothing more now...I've had my three. The lady behind the counter told OH that she gets cold sores bad too & said she dabs on vodka (alcohol is the ingredient required to dry the sore out). When he told me I said 'good idea. I'll have a double.'

Oh dear Nana, what a day....enjoy the vodka 🍸

Hospital appointment went well, they don’t want to see him again unless he feels the need, so that’s one crossed of the list.

Oma, I made P a chart for his pills, but he still got it wrong! I think he does it on purpose so that I’ll do it!!

Pouring with rain here and quite chilly...going to get wet picking Dexter up.

              Good afternoon all .

Daisy you go and wash your mouth out with soap and water........Old age indeed . I can quite honestly say that NO ONE on here is any where near the stage of old age ...and as Mrs Slocume from Are You Being Served who have said.......... and I am unanimous in that.

Enfys good to hear that the hospital went well.

Poor Libra and T and the whole family , sending them all the best wishes I can summon up.

We have sorted not one but two cupboards out. OH took my food processor and a few glasses, one flask and some mugs to the charity shop . OH thought I should keep the processor but as I haven't used it in 5 years I am not going to start now. Didn't have time to do any more as Tesco delivery arrived but there is always another day.
Its been pouring down for much of the morning but the sun is out now.

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Oma, it's good job we love B or he would be in big trouble for hurting our Oma!!!
Goodness Nana, nothing was going right, was it?!
Rain here too Enfys, but just showers on and off.

The window cleaner came (and then it rained!)
I got an email from a restaurant we sometimes go to , offering 2 for 1 on the set menu tonight. I get these emails from time to time, but have never taken them up on it before. It is always for that night. Sometimes we are busy, other times I don't see the email until too late in the day, but this time I did and we are booked for 7pm

Its worth making the effort to go Gem when its a 2 for 1 deal , it would cost more to make a meal wouldn't it

Well we have a wounded footballer , went training this morning went in for a tackle and was kicked in the ankle quite hard ,
he spent 30 mins on the physio table and now has his foot strapped and ice pack on , cant train tomorrow or play in the match on Sunday hes quite upset about that but as the physio told him if he plays he may do more damage and be out longer ,
Hasn't stopped him eating though , hes never stopped since B picked him up

Striped the beds this morning and got them all washed and dried , ironed clean bedding ready to go on , decided to take shower curtains down and get them washed , was putting them back up when Storm came upstairs didn't think anything of it till I turned around and caught him sneaking down the stairs dragging B's pillow behind him

Glad I saw him as its been raining hard and if he had taken it into the garden it would have become soaking wet , he was most upset I took it off him he cried and told me off as Husky's do . I had to give him a old towel to take down stairs

Oma I love that dog and the mischief he gets up to though I know it can’t be funny for you at the time. Sorry to hear GS is injured, one of the risks in that game I suppose. Thanks for the update on Libra. She must be exhausted as well as worried.
I’ve been meaning to ask- has Zizi left the fold? I wonder if she’s found a suitable job.

Gem Enjoy your meal.I just fancy a nice meal out at the moment.

We had heavy rain in the night but it gradually cleared and now we have a lovely sunny afternoon with a light breeze. I intended going for a short walk as I have a lot to do but it was so nice out we ended up walking round the cliffs and making sure the sea was still there.

Enjoy the rest of the day ladies.

Well, my afternoon didn’t go to plan. Had Dexter here and although it was drizzly I left the back door open for him to go in and out with his towel on the floor by the door. I always wash the kitchen floor after he’s been here so wasn’t worried about it getting wet. I was busy sorting out the kitchen cupboards, didn’t notice him come in so when I turned round and saw him sprawled on his towel I thought, ahh, good dog. Then I noticed it.........Pooh of some description splattered up the side of the island unit, over the cupboard door and back door and on th floor. He must have rolled in something unspeakable, came in and shook himself and it went everywhere!! It was all down his front, under his chin, collar covered...... I was not amused. You can imagine my language...I said bother a few times 🤬🤬, then had to set too and clean everything up. All this time DH is oblivious, upstairs on th computer, typical. He was banished to the conservatory, Dex not DH, and has now gone home. Who’d have dogs!!
