Good morning, Nanto and everyone!
Qwerty - you'll meet yourself coming back at that rate! Well done on surviving. I'm sure both you and the dog will appreciate a quiet day today.
Plant - are you going to give your new car a name?
Nana - thank you for asking. He's given a leaflet about aftercare, and some gel eye drops which are basically to ease the dry itchy feeling. I persuaded him to use the drops last night, and it seems a bit more comfortable today. I just hope he behaves himself while I'm out all day. Just leaving now!
It's another lovely hot morning, so I hope nobody's suffering too much.
Have a good day everyone.

Qwerty, what a tiring day for you, those twins certainly keep you busy. Never heard that expression about the broom, sounds a bit painful.
Daisy I have never given my cars names, how about Daisy?
Now I have my wheels, I have a few errands which have been building up, charity shop being one of them. Must fix an appt with the optician, had a reminder some weeks ago BUT not before I have put the duster around lounge and bedroom, nothing else, promise. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning everyone.
What cheery good morning figures Nan2
An early start or me today with GS1 here at 8, as his mummy was on her way to catch the train to London. She often works there, but usually SIL drops GS at school and I just pick him up in the afternoon.
What a hot night! It didn't cool (a bit) until well into the early hours.
Daisy you and GDs would be most welcome
We could chat while the children played in the water!
You too Plant. If I move the children out you could do a couple of strokes
Qwerty that caterpillar sounds something all my GC would love! Take it easy today.
I call my little blue Nissan Micra Bluebell.
Pool is up, but we are inside at the moment which suits me for a while as it is very hot out there!
I have to take GS home after tea, as DD will be late back and his dad wonlt have a car as DD has it.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning all.
Enfys how is P, How did his treatment go ?
Daisy how is OH's eye
Oma good idea about cleaning the carpet when it was cooler plus you wouldn't walk on it for a few hours as you would be tucked up in bed asleep. What am I saying , asleep at night, what a silly suggestion !
Lakeland is closed in our town sadly.
I have rather foolishly decided to cook lamb chops for lunch , it seemed like a good idea this morning when I took the chops out of the freezer this morning !
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

I have taken pork chops out of the freezer for our evening meal Mimi. I am hoping it may be a bit cooler by the time we have to cook them!
GS and I have the fan on in the living room, and it is feeling quite comfortable in here.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good afternoon all. 🌞. Another scorcher here. Went out early for some shopping, home and had a cold drink in the garden. After tackling the fridge, getting everything sorted, made lunch. Since P had his bowel op in January we have been having our main meal at lunchtime and really like eating then, so we’ve had lunch and now relaxing. DH plans to do some more video editing on computer and I want to start some new crochet but it’s a bit warm to be playing with wool.
DH did well yesterday thank you Mimi, all went according to plan so that’s another one out of the way. One more then they will do a scan. He feels very well and apart from the odd day or two when he feels very tired no other bad effects. The doctor did tell us that he shouldn’t just put up with side effects and if they happened they could sort them out for him but so far so good 🤞

Hello ,hello,I’m back.
We had a lovely break,,super hotel and interesting visits plus the fine weather of course. A trip to Bakewell necessitated the consumption of the traditional pudding. It lasted us all day.
It’ll take awhile to catch up but I do hope everyone is well and not wilting too much.
Off to read some posts. Best wishes to all.
