It sounds as though some of you have been having extreme weather! After all that heat and sunshine I don't suppose the gardens know what to make of it. But it sounds quite scary.
Enfys - I hope P is feeling better tomorrow. We've had no rain either, just some dark clouds, and a lot colder and windy.
WeeGranny - did you get used to the upside down seasons in Australia?
Nanto - what a lovely young lady your R is.
Gem - your poor thumb, it certainly been in the wars just lately. I'm glad it didn't encounter a dog as well! You've certainly had some spectacular weather. My friend who travelled to York yesterday said there were lots of cancellations and delays en route!
Mimi - don't count your chickens yet about the weather. According to the Met Office we're due for rain from about 3 am until 5 pm tomorrow, 18-20C but feeling more like 13-14C
Oma - I hope you're ok. You need more practise at partying day in day out, young lady! Seriously I do hope you're ok.
I managed to get a few chores done this morning, then after lunch we met up with DIL2, the girls and Cooper to give the dog a run in the paddock (DS2 didn't come as he's not very well). Eva and Cooper had a fantastic time playing, and Eva has only woken up to eat her dinner! Both GDs collected a small bag of fir cones for some craft projects, and then collected more to put in our friends' bag of cones to go on the fire in the winter. Mummy is a wizz at devising clever things to make.
We phoned GS1 to say Happy Birthday, and had a chat about his party next week. He's had a reconditioned iPhone from the whole family for his birthday and he's delighted with it.
I can't believe he's 15. Where did all those years go!
