Qwerty, you do make me giggle.Lovely photo by the way.
Didn't get the grass done this morning, it was too damp.Got our other jobs done, then dined.
Grass was dry then.just been in the shower,so i ought to get dressed now.
Mimi, i can remember a few years ago, there was an item on Watchdog about dark clothing transferring to light coloured furniture.

Qwerty - what are you playing at, posting as Guest???!!!
Not even sure how that could happen. Gremlins!
        Lovely family photo there

I hope your GS had a good birthday Mimi.

We went into town in the end, bought a couple of things had lunch, ran into friends in the street so stood talking for ages. Went to where I thought the Smiggle shop was, to buy a token for GD, only to find out we were in totally the wrong place (I had to Google on my phone to find out where it actually was ) Did a small shop in Sainsburys to claim our car parking money back, then home.

Never thought about coloured clothes marking furniture or car seats. Didn't know about colour catcher either.
Plant they are little material sheets that you put on the top of a coloured wash before you start the machine and they collect any escaping colour. I also use Glow White with husbands white uniform shirts. They are not expensive and very useful to have.

Qwerty, it was my fault! A box I hadn't ticked when making the new Chatbox, allowed a guest to post - which isn't allowed! You must have not logged on at first, so been able to post as Guest. All is as it should be now

I read four books over the five days we we away on my iPad Kindle. I didn't get any sunburn though as I do burn easily especially on my face so I am quite careful, husband however is an idiot and although he does now put suncream on his head (no hair) and sometimes wears a hat he does wallow in the sun too much. I shall miss him this weekend and he will probably not miss me reminding him to put sun cream on!!

Ladies - what busy bees you all are - except Shem, who has totally the right idea!!! I hope the sunburn isn't bad enough to be sore.

I feel as though I'm on a non-strop train at the moment! After getting home from Brum on Sunday, I had GD2 on Monday afternoon, and all day yesterday. Then went to dog training last night, and today we've been out for coffee and lunch and some friends came back for coffee, and it was a nice day so I did some gardening. By the time I'd got a meal tonight I was too tired to do anything useful. But tomorrow apart from OH going to the dentist we've got nothing on - so far! I could do with a few more hours in each day!

Plant, thanks! Yes I will - eventually. We seem to go from being incredibly busy to having several days together with nothing planned.

Daisy, hope things go at a slower pace for you today.
Looking overcast this morning, pleased we did the gardening yesterday.
                            Off to parents later.
                            Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Nanto - I love your morning 'cuppa'! I think you do very well to look after OH's parents so well - I'm sure they appreciate everything you do, but it must feel like hard work at times.

It's dull and overcast here as well. I hope it stays nice enough to do some gardening later (quite a bit later!) otherwise I shall have to do some of the dreaded housework. I hate the way you do it and then it all gets messy again. The house is soooo ungrateful!

Nana - how are you feeling? I noticed you were awake in the wee small hours last night. x

                              Have a good day, everyone.

                                Good morning.

It rained all night here, and is dull this morning. OH is playing in an away match today, and fears it will be very boggy underfoot!

Daisy, do take some time out !

Nan2, gardening yesterday was a good idea!

Usual Thursday with mum. This morning I need to pick up a parcel which was (not) delivered when we were out yesterday. The collection place is very close to where my mums friend lives, so I may call in to see her.
