Baby has gone down for his 2nd nap of the day, as he was up early this morning and had a short morning nap

I have made an appointment for our boy cat to see the vet in the morning. He isn't right. Although eating he's eating less and with little enthusiasm, and just; isn't himself. We have to see Willie the horrible Scottish retired vet who does a few hours and we are terrified of. There are lovely vets at this practice but he isn't one of them! Henrys needs come first though, I don't want to leave it until Monday.

OH at golf, I am having a sit down before giving GS his tea etc then getting ready to go out tonight,

Well he's home now.His 2 daughters and future son in law are there. Got to go back on Monday for a new cast on.

Had a haircut today and retouched of roots and beginning to look almost human again but purse is very light but no pockets in shrouds, food shopping done was very frugal fed up of big food bills so stuck to my list and didn't deviate,

Bought a paper this morning and the reports of the poor folk trying to get away from the fire, one lady rescued several children but lost her own little one and so it goes on.

Qwerty she woke briefly today but they sedated her again , one of her kidneys has stopped completely , at 87 its not looking good she's very frail .xx

Lovely sunny start here.I think most of us are expecting a sunny day.Lots of little jobs for me today so I must get started with the indoor tasks so I can get out in the garden later.

Morning ladies bedding in wash ready to go out , B pressure hosing the drive , and ive done what needs doing .
Sun is brilliant so if it gets really hot I don't have anything to do as it drains me the heat .
Youngest two coming tea time , well so far they are they might have gone out for the day so be too tired by then .
Plant how did clinic go ?
Hope Libra can pick dog up today and he's ok poor thing .
Nanto ive never been to Pontefract before , we have passed it may a time on the motorway but never turned off and visited , have a lovely day , Avo will be on her way to her Cruise too

I read on FB that Libras dog is home, thank goodness.
It does us good to have our hair done Qwerty!

Henry the cat has rallied round and seems much improved this morning. As there is only a short morning surgery, we decided to cancel and free up his appointment. We will keep an eye on him and if he's not fully himself as next week goes on we will take him in. To see a different vet! Fingers crossed he stays OK.

Lovely weather forecast here for several days I believe. I hope it is for all of you and that you have a good weekend whatever you do..

Morning world busy weekend for us, don't know if I mentioned this before but OH is going for a CT scan today, he was ill with a bad chest infection earlier this year and the cough has persisted so he had an x ray and they found a shadow on his lung so hence the trip to hospital , I am sure it will be fine but all the same wish us well, don't expect results for a week or so, calling for lunch in the city centre then and going to DS for a BBQ at tea time in advance of Fathers Day as we are out with DD tomorrow because g/d hasnt t got her daddy tomorrow he's in Portugal working so will have to make it up to her by grandad being there instead , enjoy your day it's going to be hot hot hot 🌞🌞🌞

Very hot already, plastered in sunscreen. SIL is cutting the grass then later he is picking his mother up and we are going for a pub lunch.

Oma, I only go to have my finger pricked, they test it right away to see if my blood is too thick or too thin.

Well its taken 3 hours to pressure hose the drive and paths then hose down and clean front door , porch roof ,windows , railings etc where all the grit and dirt sprayed everywhere,
Looks lovely and clean now but next year I'm getting a company in to do it , Its just getting too much for us to do , luckily the front is in the shade most of the morning but still with this heat its very draining , Poor Brian is worn out and I'm turkey red taking me ages to cool down ,
All the outside is cleaned and fences etc painted now nothing else to maintain for this year thank goodness,
Qwerty hope J is in and out of scan the last place you want to be on a day like this xxx
DS not coming till morning now so off to pick MIL up and then to Martins for a BBQ
