    Good morning everyone.

I didn't sleep well, because, as OH is away I could just keep switching on the bedroom TV to see how things were going in the election!

Sunny and dry so I have a wash on.

Baby GS and GD day today, OH back late afternoon, and we are going to friends tonight, so I won't have much online time. I will pop in when I can, or catch up tomorrow

    Have a good day everyone!

Morning ladies Dog day today he's currently trying to climb the fence and crying like a baby as one of next doors cats is sitting on the shed teasing him
Started off a nice day but big black clouds rolling in
I did my ironing last night as I wasn't interested in the TV so that's out of the way , some how I managed to find enough things to do two full washes and a short wash yesterday .
Daisy DD has put Storm on a raw food diet and he's loving it and his coat already after a few weeks is much softer and shining , she was having it delivered but the Doggy day care he goes to sells it at a better price and they are putting it in portions ready for her so its well balanced , should see his tail wag when its meal time

Oma - Storm is a very lucky boy. I'm totally convinced that raw food is best for dogs and when you look at how their coats shine, their eyes are bright and their teeth stay clean you really feel you're doing the best you can for them. I order from a company called The Dogs Butcher (interesting name!!). They deliver by van once a month and the quality of the meat is fantastic and all ethically sourced (eg no halhal meat, all from local abattoirs). You can also order by courier, and quite a few specialist raw dog food shops sell it too. I had some venison last time which was so good I very nearly gave it to OH for his tea! And, whisper, raw-fed dogs do very tiny poos, so less to clear up).

Qwerty - I'm very lucky that OH hates changing his car, but I can sympathise with you. I'd hate trailing round car showrooms listening to the endless information about horse power, brakes or whatever.

My neighbour was taken back into Hospital on Monday talking to her mother today she said Kym is refusing to take her medication as she insists she's fine again , this poor girl has a lot of demons to get over its so sad not just for her but her parents , her mother is besides herself poor woman .
Life is so hard for some people

Nanto - thank you. I'm pleased, too. This 2 week job has been going on since the beginning of April!

Oma - That's so sad, and Kym's parents must be at their wits' end. It sounds as though she's better off in hospital at the moment so they can supervise her meds, poor girl. Life is hard and very unfair for some people.

I've had a busy couple of days so haven't been able to keep an eye on GRUS so I'm trying to catch up.

Oma it's so sad about your neighbour. Unless someone is with her all the time to check she takes her medication it's just going to go round and round.

Daisy it looks as if the end is in sight for your dining room. These things always seem to take so much longer than you optimistically imagine. Perhaps we can see some photos ?

We went to the cinema yesterday to see "Lion" It was the "oldies "Silver Screen. We enjoyed it as we drank our coffee and enjoyed the biscuits

Glad you enjoyed your film and tea and biscuits as good as being at home
I came home pogged ate too much went to one garage and decided to hang on to this car for the moment as we use the twin pushchair now and again well it's a tank really so still need a big boot. Anyway it takes my OH a year to decide what he wants anyway boring
Nan2 hope your all coping today with your sad news

Clover - yes, I hope the end is in sight. OH still has to prep and paint all the gloss and clean, prep and varnish the floor - and I suppose it will need more than one coat. It's getting a bit fraught, because we have visitors arriving on the 19th for a week, and if at all possible we want to go away in the caravan for a few days next week. Oh, and OH is out all day Sunday, and we need to fit in a trip to the allotment, and I can't sort the house out until I can put the furniture back in the dining room - at the moment it's spread all over the house. Realistically, we shouldn't be trying to shoehorn in a short holiday, but it will soon be school holidays with more childcare - and an extra dog for nearly 3 weeks.

I will take some photos when it's finished - even though by then it might have one of those decorated tree thingies in the corner by then.

Did you enjoy "Lion" - I keep hearing good reports about it.

Qwerty - I bet you never thought that twin pushchair would save you from hours in a car showroom!

Good morning all . I'm not even going to mention the weather until it bucks its self up !

Yesterday was our 44th wedding anniversary and to celebrate the fact we opened a bottle of bubbly, we had a glass each with the idea of having another after we had come back indoors from outside only to forget all about it . What numpty's we are. We didn't realise till this morning ! Just shows we hardly drink ! (Or so we claim )

I have just moved all my fridge magnets from the freezer door to the front of the gas boiler door as every time some one goes out through the back door the magnets are either knocked on to the floor or dragged down the freezer door marking it. Now they are up high out of reach. It's only taken me 4 years to work this out !

Have a nice weekend every one. We have got DS coming to lunch tomorrow so I am cooking a Sunday roast...a rare occurrence in this household
Bring me sunshine in your smile.
