      Good morning everyone.
Sunny, windy and dry here atm. This is the slight lull in this weeks rain which was forecast! I hope Oma's DD and Plant's GS have lovely birthdays. it was SIL2's yesterday. DD is working away, so it must have been an odd one for him.

Reflexology for me this morning, then I am taking my auntie out this afternoon. I was thinking of going to the cinema later today, but am considering the Silver Screen viewing at the cinema in town tomorrow morning instead. I could go from there to my mums. Haven't quite decided yet!
      Have a good day everyone.

Happy birthday to those celebrating birthdays. Sunny but very windy here, off out to DD's later to do some gardening for her. Have a good day all.

          Good morning, ladies.

Yes we have sun, but we don't have warmth. I took my breakfast into the garden to keep an eye on Eva while she was eating a bone, and very quickly went into the greenhouse out of the wind. I did feel a bit silly eating my granola among the tomatoes, lettuces etc! I shall be glad to get my summerhouse back into use - it's full of dining room furniture while we're still decorating!

I'm taking the opportunity of the break in the wet weather to wash summer clothes and put my winter clothes away. Perfect timing, isn't it - I'm complaining of the cold and putting away my winter woollies!!! Even worse - the ironing pile will be even higher!

LG - don't get blown away in this gusty wind.

Gem - lots of options. Whatever you decide, have a lovely day.

Oma - have a good time tonight. Lots of celebrate. xx

Plant - a big day for your GS - what a pity he's in the middle of exams. My June-born son was lucky enough to get his various exams finished before the birthday celebrations. I hope your GS catches up on the fun later.

I picked the first cucumber from the greenhouse today
OH will be pleased. She however isn't in my good books. She was supposed to have booked the table for a family Sunday lunch this weekend, to celebrate mine and SILs birthdays. I found out by chance last night that she hadn't done so. Fortunately I have managed to get us a table for 2pm, so not much later than we wanted. I think her head was already on holiday so she put the booking out of her head

              A belated Good Morning.
Been to the dentist for a check up.All well but appointment for hygienist had to be made.I think that visit is almost as bad as the dentist!
Thank goodness the wind has died down. It damaged a lof of the leaves on my runner beans

Gem I'm glad you realised your O H's senior moment and managed to book the restaurant. We are planning to go to our Silver Screen tomorrow. Our film is "Lion"

Had a fantastic day with DS and family for GS's 18th, lovely lunch, back to their house and friends arrived bearing gifts. GD stopped off from work to join the party and then brought me home. Lovely day.

Plant and Oma, I'm glad to hear the birthday celebrations went well

Good to know GC were good Qwerty!

I had a nice time with my lovely Auntie. I also bought 6 dinner plates from an antique/second hand stall while we were out.. Poole Pottery, I paid £12 for 6 plates. I looked them up on a discontinued pottery site and they were £14 each, so I got a bargain! They are very pretty (hopefully OH will like them )

I have to say I am enjoying living a sports free house this week, TV is much more enjoyable!!

I'm feeling super pleased with myself. I've sorted out summer and winter clothes and swapped them over, plus done about 5 or 6 loads of washing, dried it all outside and (roll of drums, please) ironed it. I didn't get much else done, but at least if the sun shines I will have something suitable to wear!

I'm glad the birthday celebrations have gone well.

Gem - you got a bargain with the Poole Pottery. If your OH doesn't like them, I'm sure you can sell them at a profit!!! But having forgotten to book the table for Sunday, I am absolutely sure she will really love them.

Clover - we got quite a lot of damage from the high winds. I wasn't here to move pots to safety. I don't know how the allotment has fared yet!
