I watched the weather forecast tonight, and it looks as though the whole country will be bathed in sunshine for most of the next few days - except the extreme south and south-west coast! So I've put out boots, mac, waterproof overtrousers and a couple of warm jumpers, which I hope will be enough to fool the rain god into going on strike and inflicting glorious sunshine on us! Are we ready to go? No, of course not but OH thinks we'll be leaving about 9.30 am! I really don't want to offend Mimi, but <whispering> I have 'done' 3 pairs of trousers and 2 t-shirts. Please, please, Mimi don't expel me from the MTs - they are all for OH! <Hangs head in shame>

After torrential rain this morning, it was a lovely sunny day. Clover - what a lovely day you had, and the ice creams sound yummy. We had a static caravan for about 15 years up in Anglesey. It was a lovely spot overlooking Porth Lynas lighthouse, and like you, we got things down to a fine art - clothes and food for the first couple of days thrown into the car along with the boys and dog and off we'd go.

Plant - if we get any sun I shall go to Lulworth Cove! I love a relaxing facial or massage.

Nanto - Your lawn's loss is your extractor fan's gain! It must be so proud being all nice and shiny.

Mimi - glad you're safely down off the ladder.

There should be WiFi at the camp site, so I hope to stay in touch, but if not, be good, and I'll be back on Sunday. xx

Free day for us SIL has a cold he's off work so no dog for us today means we can get on with putting new lights up in sitting room without Storm getting in way ,

Just been over to check on SIL ,poor lad has Man flu must admit he is poorly , so ive made up a flask of tea for him and some lunch so he doesn't have to move to get himself something to eat , he has a bottle of water and the TV remote he doesn't need anything more , he will probably sleep most of day so hes ok , hes feeling very sorry for himself poor lad

Hes fine the ulcers in his mouth are painful but he said his throat feels better , he feels rough because its a head cold , they seem to make you feel achy all over don't they

Just popping by ( late I know ) . The walls now have a new lick of paint on them, now I have to paint the skirting boards, , kitchen door, bathroom, spare room ......... Tell me , why did I start all this decorating malarkey?

Sun is shining,beenfrosty but that is melting now.
We were both awake early,and both of us felt hungry,so had an early breakfast.
Mimi, pleased the kitchen is nearly done. We don't do decorating now,we get someone in.Usually the nephew,he is a painter and decorator by trade.
Hope Daisy is enjoying her break, and hope Glamma is enjoying her holiday.
I think Gem and S may have landed at Manchester now.

Morning ladies it's a nice sunny day , popped to the shops, did washing, and just put a casserole in the slow cooker , we have his scan at 3 so it will be all ready for coming home , was going to iron but decided it can wait till tomorrow ,

This decorating malarkey hasn't been helped by OH saying " What colour shall we do the bedroom "?

Its a cold day day here but it's not raining so that's a plus .
Having a lazy day today, just doing three loads of washing, waiting for the Tesco grocery to arrive and then cook some lunch for myself, OH and DS. That's enough for today.
