Dinner is over with.hubby taken his brother somewhere, so i have about an hour all to myself.

Back from our lovely meal. Roast beef with all the trimmings and I was a very good girl, I declined the offer of apple crumble with custard.

OH brought some garden lights ( more I ask !!!) and I came home with a new small metal watering can for my seeds and young plants . OH noticed it when we were in the shop, he said buy it quick , that's the last one in this colour ........it's a very bright purple!!! He knows me so well .

We didn't go to Whitby. By the time we got our act together, and did the other things we wanted to do, we both decided it was to late to bother at this time of year (It takes about an hour ro drive there) We will make a trip there as soon as we can though.
We did buy GS1's birthday present, a job I needed to do. A Little Tikes first slide from Toys r Us. He will be one year old on Thursday, that time has flown! We are having a big family and friends Easter and babys birthday celebration on Good Friday, but some of us are also going to tea on his birthday, which is when I will take his slide, helium balloon etc.

Well the stains are out totally , I have never been so stumped I tried all the tricks I know and some I just made up .
In future any Indian meals will be ate with a tea towel tied around our necks . I was hell bent on getting them out 😊

GS1 from preschool later. This is my first time looking after him since my holiday, although I saw him on Mothers Day. Lots of significant things have happened to him lately, and he is quite a chatterbox, so I don't expect a quiet car on the journey home

Super morning here, DD is taking us GM's to JL this afternoon, bed changing and might push my sucker thing around in the sitting room.

Morning ladies a lovely sunny warm day hear
Been out looking for a new curtain pole for our bedroom I just want a plain white wood one nothing fancy , I have a lovely metal one up but the eyelets on my new Curtains are metal too and when you brush against the curtains the metal on metal makes a horrible scratching noise like nails down a black board it puts my teeth on edge ,
Anyway went to all the usual shops saw a few but they so expensive , I had decided to get a one out of Yorkshire linen just a plain white one reduced from £ 34 to £ 24.99 but then thought I would have a look in Wilko first just in case , well I'm glad I did I got a almost identical one for £12.99 . A big difference in price and just what I wanted so I'm very pleased 😊

been to hairdressers this morning, just had a text from GD, she is home and is bringing her DVD of "Fantastic Beasts" over for us to watch together . So a nice afternoon with both GC, not often that happens these days.

It's been so nice I have spent a bit time in garden , managed to get all the leaves stuck down the side of shed blown out , hoovered the lawn , hosed everything down and sprayed the odd stray weed coming through the patio , it tends to be from the tree seeds them twirly 2 leaf seeds that are like helicopters that come down , they get in every nook and cranny .
Front drive needs spraying in places but I can't be bothered now I will do it tomorrow 😊

Lovely afternoon here too. OH spent most of it sorting out our garage. Then set off with lots of stuff to the local tip, only to find the road closed. Local radio told her there was an accident that morning, we hope no one was seriously injured So she still has a car full of junk.
GS1 was a delight, as he is these days. So cute, it is hard to remember the little tantrummy beast of last year

Edited to say OH just phoned me. We had decided on take away tonight, and she arrived at our local family run Chinese to find it closed for staff holidays! She feels conspired against today! Fortunately our village has take away places of all kinds, so we are now having fish and chips.
