Yes Plant, petrol and electric. Apparently it charges itself which is a shame because I quite fancied plugging it in to one of the hardly ever used electric charging points around here!!

My conference call finished a whole hour early (lovely) as we didn't have a presentation on the project which we would have had if we had all been there. I have been lumbered with organising the next one including the agenda, site tour, speakers, directions etc. as everyone comes from across the country you have to make sure to give specific directions or there will be a lot of very lost people wandering around the east end of London! Back to work now, loads of emails pinged in while I was on the Skype call. DRAT.

Gem - glad you're safely in Manchester. What do you mean "freezing"? It's usually raining!!!

I hope you get a good night's sleep to ease your back and knee, and have comfortable seats for the flight. Safe journey.

There must be something about buying a bra that drives us to greater, better things.

Feeling sad and tired, and very cross with myself as I sent GD2 home without her coat! I can take it over tomorrow, but she goes to playgroup tomorrow and unless it's absolutely pouring down they play outside.

Oma - I'm so relieved B's doctor had a quick solution for the 'lump'. Thank goodness it was 'only' a small hernia. xx

Nanto - you've certainly got on with shortening your skirts. Do you enjoy sewing?

Had a very long session in the dentist chair this afternoon the work was the preparation for a crown to be fitted in 2 weeks, felt sorry for myself so treated myself to a pot of tea and a scone in a small cafe.

Free day day tomorrow and then hospital on Friday to have the device fitted, have found out they are expecting me to be in overnight. Need to order a taxi as nobody available to take me.

I am am sure the GD' s coat will be resolved but it is annoying Daisy.

Daisy, i don't do much sewing, only when i have to shorten something. Hope it's not too cold for GD.
                    Had some rain overnight.

Good morning my lovely friends, hope I find you all well.
After two nice dry days I see the rain has made a reappearance, just as the garden was drying up nicely. Taking about gardening, I seem to have put my back out . I wasn't aware of it at the time but it's certainly letting me know that whatever I did to it , it didn't approve. I have planned to start decorating the spare room, kitchen and bathroom tomorrow. Not all at once you understand, superwoman I am not....unfortunately, so it needs to get better.

Today, along with a few friends we are going to visit our friend who has just been diagnosed with cancer. She has told me that she feels so lucky to have such wonder support from her family and friends unlike some people who are alone at a time like this. This is typical of her, she always thinks of other first. She is a lovely friend to have.

Hope you all have a lovely day x
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Good morning, damp and dismal here and feels very cold.

Daisy, after the days you've had it's no wonder something was forgotten. Hope you feel better today.

First gym visit today, oldies exercise class . Wish me luck, hope I can keep up but it's got to do some good hopefully 👯

Good morning ladies. Damp, dull and dark here, and it's rained hard overnight. The garden and allotment are stuck in a time v. mud warp until the weather improves!

Enfy - thank you. Yes, I do feel a bit better today - hairdressers this morning - and handing the coat back - then dog training at lunch-time. Poor Eva has had no fun for the last few days so I hope she enjoys today.

Plant - you certainly deserved a little treat after that marathon session at the dentists - it will be worth it though. I hope Friday goes well, but what a pity there's no-one who can take you to the hospital. Sending you a virtual hug. xx

Enfys - enjoy your session at the gym. I'd be interested to know how it goes. I keep telling myself I must get some serious exercise - other than running round after a 3 year old. Good for you for actually doing it.

Oma - That's wonderful news - B will be so glad to be free of his Hickman line. I hope the biopsy isn't as painful as he's expecting, and even more importantly, that the results are good. As you say, another hurdle chalked off. Well done B. xx

Gem - if you have chance to look in here, I hope your back and knee are better today. Not sure what time your flight is, but I can feel the excitement from here.
