My DD picked me up about 5.30, lots of paperwork to sift through. Site a bit painful, probably bruising, the device was pushed into my chest quite hard, I am now a bionic woman, anything abnormal is sent to a computer and I have a device which if I have a fall I need to press a button to register it on their equipment, goodness knows where I am going to carry that about my person, perhaps up my knicker leg. I already wear an alarm on a ribbon around my neck, I need a little bag to keep them in. When I asked where I should keep it, they said perhaps onyour keyring but that isn't always with me, I don!tthink they have fully thought that through, oh and I also wear a bracelet letting people know I take warfarin. Should I really consider coming to Birmingham!! Treated myself to a brandy before I came to bed.

We went to Universal Islands of Adventure today. It was SO hot!! We did a few rides, had lunch and a general wander round, then came back to relax by the pool. That was long enough for our first day, and we will visit that park again. Off to Publix supermarket soon for a few supplies, then to a Chinese restaurant. Both are only a few minutes drive from here.

I am feeling distinctly unwell today, didn't go to the site visit but it went well apparently although they were late (they always are). I am about to have a bath to see if that makes me feel better and then I will pack. Everything is ready and waiting, just needs to be rolled and folded. I have been given Birmingham to look after now which I am trying to get out of but it does not look hopeful!

Just popping in and out as we are at DD's for a long weekend and being kept busy. While the GC are at school we are entertaining a lively one year old Cavapoo and going for long walks and visiting garden centres etc.
Zizi I hope you feel better and able to look forward to your holiday. Once there you can relax and do as little or as much as you like.

Afternoon ladies well it's been a day of highs and then lows. This morning GS ( aged6) rang to tell me all about his chicken pox but he also wanted to know what would I do if I had a polar bear living in my house? The things they think of, it's so funny.
DS came for lunch and we had a little chat but then I received some upsetting news from my friend. (I have posted on YEO). Life can be nasty sometimes can't it

Had a productive day today, DH got the new fence panels up, with the help of our neighbour and then we both stained them and managed to get them done before the drizzle started.

It's been dull and dreary here today. I spent the morning mounting a picture for a friend and putting it into a frame. I haven't done this for years and it was quite satisfying seeing the finished job. She was very pleased. This afternoon I watched Crufts - very rare for me to watch TV in the daytime. I was pleased to see the Yorkie breed winner also win Best in Class. She's from Japan, but is from the bloodline of the only Yorkie to win Crufts Best in Show, which makes her some kind of very vague relative my Rusty and Clyde. ❤️

Not entirely sure what I am going to do today,it all depends on what my back will allow.At the moment I can't even get my socks on so going to yoga isn't on the 'to do ' list.
Enfys our garden fence needs a coat of paint, our cat uses one of the posts as a scratching post, she will soon of whittled it down to a match stick at the rate she goes at it !
