Oma - I love that bedding - bright, cheerful and spring like. I used lime green for curtains and soft furnishings when we did our living room last summer, and I'm still pleased with the colour.

LG - Oh dear, Shiloh has been a naughty boy today! I hope he's on his best behaviour now to make up for it. What a good job there was someone there to open the gate. Would he have come out for a treat, or did he just not understand he had to go back under the railings? Hopefully he's learned it's not a great place to go. We had a little bit of sunshine today as well - but the rain was starting mid afternoon. I think tomorrow supposed to be stormy.

Clover - if you Google Alabama Rot you can get a map and list of the places where it's been found. I'm sorry our bad weather has spread your way as well.

Oh Shiloh, showing your Mummy up like that. What a good job someone was there to open the gate. I just hope he doesn't try that trick again as next time he could be stuck in there.!
Oma that bed linen is lovely. Blue is my favourite colour and that set looks so fresh and springlike.

Daisy your spot on, he didn't understand he had to crawl out the same way as he got in, poor man got barked at for his trouble.Shiloh can be iffy with strangers, luckily he is not a jumper upper. Better be on his best behaviour tomorrow or its Battersea for him, he has been warned. Oma love the colour of your new bedding, very fresh looking.

Alabame rot sounds like a dreadful disease.
            Naughty Shilo.
Oma, new bedding looks a lovely colour.

Raining, and very strong winds here tonight. I suspect storm Doris has arrived.

Batten down the hatches! I've just been out and moved some pots of budding daffs into a more sheltered place.

I don't think it has reached us, perhaps it has gone north.

The winds have died down now, and it isn't raining. Maybe storm Doris was just passing through last night.

Good morning. No storm here. Calm and sunny here this morning. OH and being taken out to lunch! One of her kind golf friends wanted to take us out after my surgery, and today was chosen.

Enjoy your time with your sister Oma Having only one, profoundly handicapped, sister, I so envy those with sisters. I am so glad each of my daughters has two

This lunch today is actually an afternoon tea, but 12.45 was the only available time. This suits us as we like to have afternoon tea for lunch, if we have one! It is at the local college catering department and apparently very good. When I was studying reflexology at the same college, we had nights when we treated the public. They got a cheap treatment, and we got experience in dealing with and treating new customers. I always enjoyed it! I think this is a similar experience for the catering students. Our friend has been before and thinks it very good. I will report back!

Good morning everyone. Guess who didn't wake up until after 9 o'clock this morning!

If we had a storm, I missed it, but it's dull and a bit drizzly here. Please could we borrow everyone else's sun tomorrow.

Gem, how lovely - enjoy your lunch. Oma - I bet you and your sister will have a load of laughs. It's something I envy - sisters who are close to each other - I'm an only one.

I'm going to do some housework this morning (what's left of it!) while OH does the shopping. I'm hoping we have a nice quiet week-end - but you never know.
