What a night, storm Doris certainly made her presence felt. Most of the evening and late night the wind and rain howled around here.
Its very calm outside today but I'm not holding my breath as its supposed to turn out wet again later this morning.
OH has gone to Birmingham hospital for his usual botox injection so its just me and the cat here this morning. My grocery is due to be delivered soon, ...... I wonder if my lettuce will be in my order or will some shoppers panic brought the lot

I think a couple of shops were restricting the number of lettuces you could buy to 3! It made me smile, because I'm sure Mimi is right - people will start panic buying - but the lettuce will still rot in the fridge within a few days! You can imagine the early morning conversation - A few leaves of Cos with your Weetabix, dear?

Had a lovely morning with my sister she's 72 and not in the best of health but we always have a great laugh,
I only have 1 sister left my other sister died 13 years ago yesterday so a bitter sweet catch up with my one and only sister now , we had the photos of our other sister out and reminisced about the times we had all together remembering very funny things we got up too,😊

We live about 5 miles from each other Nanto , our only Brother lives about 10 mile away , we never seem to manage to get all together at one time so when visit each other it's special , our Sister that died lived 300 miles away but we went to see her regular and she came and stayed with me for weeks at a time , like all families we all have our own lives to lead but we text each other every morning just to see what each is doing that day and yo say I love you , well you never know if it's going to be the last time do you

We've no plans for today, but lots to do. In other words, I'm going to end up pottering round and not achieving much!

Morning all weather the same as Daisy, relief no rain. No major plans for today usual dog walk and a steak pie to make for tomorrow.I have 2 youngest for a few hours tomorrow so DD and SIL can clear their kitchen as they have builders/ kitchen fitters starting on Monday. Have a good weekend all.

Good morning. We had frost overnight, but it is bright and sunny now. We will have a walk to the village later, for a browse and a coffee.

Sunny here too. Had our usual walk on the cliffs. Very high tide.Looking down on the waves crashing on the foot of the clifffs is something I could stand and watch for ages.
Home for a coffee and then planning to make shepherds pie for tonight. Going to make a big one so we can have it tomorrow as well.

Morning ladies sun shine hear too but a nip in the air , it's colder than it looks .
Been to B&Q for new ceiling lamp and lamp shades for my bedroom nothing much to do today it rained during night ground still wet wanted to get the stray leaves off the grass but they too soggy to collect at the minute I will have a go at them after lunch see if they have dried out any

My new Jasper Conran handbag that I ordered from Debenhams arrived yesterday. It will go lovely with my light pink shoes that I plan to wear to GS's christening . It was bargain, , not only had it been reduced in the sale but I also got an extra 20% off. The bag cost me £19 . OH came home from town showing me some cufflinks he had brought to go with his new suit, he paid £2 from the charity shop. They are a real bargain, they look like new, they even come in their own little box.
Its a lovely day out side at the moment, the sun is shinning on my washing, its the first time I have been able to hang it outside in a long time.
Later this afternoon we are going to visit OH's sister and BIL.They are lovely people and plenty of laughs are guaranteed.

We did some shopping and had a sandwich out.
I have a cold, caught from GS1 whose nose ran he whole time I looked after him on Monday! Being out in the fresh air on a nice day like this helped.
