Well they all off to work and school came in and all asked for full English , just as well I had stuff in so while they had showers dried hair DD ironed the stuff they needed and dressed I stood in kitchen cooking for them , I had already been in the garden at 6.30 clearing leaves away so if Storm did his business I could see where , then they all left and the house looked like a tornado had ripped through, All dishes done first then I hovered (again) then tackled the bathroom 5 of us having showers leaves a lot of mess and water not to mention dirty towels , Karcher,d the tiles and mirrors dried everything and the floor ,polished the tap on hand basin , and now have a washer full of towels on ,oh and made the dog scrambled eggs . My usual routine breakfast is a cup of tea and a bowl of cereal that I still haven't managed to have yet 😲.To be honest it was lovely to have them , GS1 said he would like to do this every morning , as much as I love them I don't think so 😊 He put his order in for tea when I pick him up from school ,I asked if he thought I was his slave , he said no but you love me .. well what could I say to that but yes I do 😊

        Good morning everyone.

Oma, you are a good mum!
Daisy enjoy your coffee and lunch

I am taking my auntie out to lunch. We meet up every 5 or 6 weeks for lunch or morning coffee. This afternoon I have a double Drs appointment. Made originally to ask her advice regarding flight socks and varicose veins, but now mainly for my knee and back pain which have just got worse recently.
Fortunately I can park outside my aunties house, and the restaurant and Drs have car parks outside so not much walking today!

        Have a good day everyone.

Morning ladies, well done Storm on alerting the family to what could have been a mega disaster. Hope the Doctors appointment throws some light on the problem with knee and back Grm, do you think it could be sciatica which can be very painful. Usual day here except a trip to the vets may be needed as Shiloh seems to have conjunctivitis, Im trying to hold off as he is due to go friday for his health check and boosters. Bathing with cooled boiled water, but he is looking very sorry for himself.

Sun is shining here, but it's very windy.Keep having the odd bit of drizzle, but it makes beautiful rainbows.
Hope it's fine later, when we have to go into town for an hour.

Oma, you take my breath away, I haven't done half of what you have done. you have been busy
Daisy enjoy your coffee and lunch
Gem, how did you get on at the Drs ?
Avo, I am impressed with your Portuguese lesson , you will have to teach us 'Good Morning' in Portuguese. .

I've been to town this morning with the plan to get some Christmas shopping done, well I brought some wool to make two stockings to hang on the fire place , three packs of Christmas as there was a BOGOF offer on and a Christmas cardboard box from Paper Chase to put GDs present in. Then I decided to call it a day as my back was aching . As I stood waiting for the bus the wind blew and it snatched my bus ticket out of my hand and I had to chase up the street for it I did feel a fool.
Has there been any more strange activity on here over night and this morning ?
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Thinking about you chasing your ticket up the street, made me chuckle.

And there endeth the first lesson from Avo.Not too difficult at all Avo.
Just got back from an hour in town. Called in Asda on our way home. Let's just say, for someone that didn't want anything, i ended up with quite a lot.
Glad B isn't too bad Oma.

Avo - obrigada! It's the only Portuguese word I know - I hope it means 'thank you'. I'm impressed with your determination - it looks such a difficult language.

Oma - glad B is back safe and sound. My goodness, what a busy morning you had. I can see why you cleared the leaves up before the dog arrived - yesterday GD2 and I ended up searching in a deep layer of leaves for the 'gift' Midge had deposited. We probably looked as funny as Mimi chasing her bus ticket.

LG - how are Shiloh's eyes now?

Gem - what did the doctor say? I hope you enjoyed your lunch with your auntie.

Nanto - I actually feel guilty if I walk out of a supermarket without buying anything!

It's been a beautiful day here today, and quite warm this morning. We had a lovely drive through the countryside to get to the hotel where we were having coffee and lunch. The tress were spectacular and the sunlight really enhanced the colours. It was almost warm enough to sit outside with no coat for coffee, but we decided to be sociable and sit with the rest of the crowd. We had a lovely lunch - OH and I both had steak, ale and mushroom pie and it was delicious. I definitely won't be cooking tonight! Then the friends we had gone with came back here for coffee. A lovely relaxing day out.

                                Good evening.

Nan2, I frequently go into a shop for 2 items and come out with 2 bags ful!!

Mimi, what an energetic start to your day

Aggie, you're not talking out of turn at all. The nuisance members were all computer generated from one source we think. I think it's just random, rather than a particular site being targetted. I take your point though. Thanks.

Daisy , obrigado/a and bom dia are the only Portugese I know!
It sounds like a well deserved lovely day for you..

Auntie and I had a good lunch. Fish and chips, which neither of us had had for ages , and both enjoyed. My auntie is lovely, and has my dads eyes. I love spending time with her.
