We had elder DS and DIL and the 2 gs for lunch and a walk in the woods. Lovely day and yes, the house is nice and cosy now!

Good morning all, did you all have a good weekend, hope everyone is well.
Oma enjoy your coffee with your friends.
            Nan2, don't work too hard !

My mobile phone decided to have a bit of a hissy fit on Saturday, the home and back button wouldn't work so I had to pop to the Vodafone shop for someone to have a look at it. It has gone away for repair and as its still under warranty I won't have to pay for the repair cost thankfully. So now I am without a phone,, the man in the shop offered me a phone to borrow till mine is returned but I declined. OH has his phone and we still have the landline phone so I am not exactly cut off from the family but I do miss my mobile, it's amazing how many times a day I 'check' my phone. Isn't it strange the habits we pick up over the years

Mimi what did we do when we didn't have all this technology, it's very strange now when stuff breaks down we are lost without it , My new laptop stopped working and had to go in for repair two weeks ago , I honestly didn't think I used it much till it was gone for a week , I always use my tablet or so I thought but there was lots of things on my laptop that I haven't got on my tablet 😲😊

                Morning everyone.
I would hate it if my phone broke down, which it is in danger of doing as it is so ancient, I must do something about that!!
Oma, if I had to choose between a laptop and tablet, I would choose laptop every time. Tablet and I have a love hate relationship

GS1 from preschool as usual, DD3 coming straight from work for tea, her OH is away with work this week.

                Have a good day everyone

Good morning everyone. Rather a late start for me today, and have just spent a frustrating half an hour going round in circles trying to update Flash on my computer! Grrrr..... I still haven't done it, but it will have to wait till this evening.

My usual Monday with the girls, but quite tired after a long day at DS1's yesterday. I offered to help DIL - and did most of the ironing, which is fine, but my back's aching today.

Oma - what a good idea being able to take your own pillow and duvet into the hospital - he will be much more comfortable. Not long to wait now. xxx

Nanto - don't work too hard.

                  Have a good day everyone.

Morning ladies a bit miserable and cloudy, so although with assistance from Shiloh Ive changed the beds, its not going to dry. So tumbler is going to be in overdrive today. When the girls finally left I fell sound asleep to be woken to be told Strictly was on Getting my jobs done then usual walkies, hubs has gone to Weymouth, the only Argos to have in stock one of Tarens presents. But he will enjoy his train ride, we could of waited to see if it came back in stock locally, but decided not to risk it. Have a good day everyone.

Libra Gran , one year when I was looking for a Christmas present GD desperately wanted , it was out of stock in Argos not only online but in our home town and the rest of the uk .....except for one remaining one in all places.. Cardiff which was very handy as DD lives there. I was able to reserve it and she picked it up for me !
I have just finished cleaning the windows when ... yes you guessed correct.. it started to flipping well rain . Now this isn't a job I do very often because as you know I am a member of the MT club The windows will be lucky if they get a clean again this side of Christmas .

I didn't sleep well again last night so I did some online Christmas shopping.
It has just accrued to me I have mentioned 'Christmas ' 4 times on this post.....is it still too soon I wonder, do I need to go and sit on the naughty step ?

Christmas well, I am nearly there. Got main presents for Sadie and Joe and it is Ben'so birthday on Friday so will know after that what he wants. Mixed case of wine for ben's parents plus couple of small gifts. Cannot get an answer out if the other two as to their joint present. Wish they would let me know.husband and I don't actually need anything bit my I pad is playing up so we mighthought buy one of those. He is favouring buying a smeg mixer. I know I bought the toaster and kettle but the mixer (just a mixer no attachments) is three hundred quid😨😨. No idea what to do for middle son the other boys havent seen him for ages either. No response to texts emails or voicemails. Not a lot I can do. Still have his £40 next vouchers for his birthday back.in July.
