Oh Pearl I do hope your kitchen fit goes well. Mine is going to be reinstalled on the 12th. I am not looking forward to it. I hope you have a great experience.
My my little people went about mid-day. They rolled around on the floor a lot in the duvet covers and then went into the garden to play. Because we are on a maisonette our garden is at the bottom of our (internal) stairs and although private has a gate to the road albeit a high gate. Joe (11) said he would take responsibility for the others and make sure the gate was kept closed. They played down there for a while and the Joe came back upstairs and asked to use my iPad. The other two were downstairs singing! I went down to hang my white washing, yes white is relevant. About twenty minutes later Ben came up and asked if they could use my washing in the show they were practising for me. We had a discussion and they wanted to move my white towels so they made a stage curtain. I reminded them the washing was wet and WHITE but agreed to move it around to make a stage curtain. As I was doing this mummies turned up. So we all became the audience. We listened to five songs one about Pokemons or pikachu which might be the same thing (I don't know), a couple of Abba songs and a couple of others which I know but have no idea how. We were sitting in the garden and of course had to cheer, clap and join in. One funny bit was when Sadie was being a backing dancer and her head ended up in the sleeve of grandads short sleeved uniform shirt which was on the line. No they did not put the duvets back in the cases like they promise but hey! I knew they wouldn't .......
Gave up the thought of working so sciving today and will catch up toros and Sunday as husband working. Made the meat sauce for moussaka for tomorrow and did the aubergines. I need to get more red wine tomorrow as I didn't have a lot left for cooking and I am not opening one of the good bottles of red to cook with so I will get a sort of decent one tomorrow, one for the pot, one for me sort of thing.
