Well I didn't sleep at all , B was poorly last night and threw up so of course I was in a panic ,He went to bed and slept well , I couldn't close my eyes , I was waiting for him being sick again but he slept like a baby left me to worry ,
I have done my ironing , ironed clean bedding its hanging over the landing banister ready to go on when I have some energy , going to do my paintworks and wash floors then doing nothing else for the day

I'm a bit too late to say 'good morning', but I have been up since 7.30!

My back feels much better today, but those weeds are still growing - well, like weeds!!! It's dull and showery and OH has gone shopping. He had to go to Lymington so he's gone to Waitrose there, and he hates it because he never knows where things are. And he will probably complain about the prices, too, but I always tell him they keep DIL2 in a very good job!

I've spent an hour tidying up the tomatoes in the garden, taking off diseased and low leaves and picked a big bowl of tiny cherry tomatoes - they're nice and sweet and I like snacking on them.

Oma - I do hope B is ok today, and you get a chance to catch up on some sleep. It will seem quiet without Storm. Even though we've got a dog, an extra dog seems to add to the chaos - we've got dog toys all over the place and as fast as we put them back in the boxes one or the other of the dogs gets them out again. Bailey like to dot them artistically round the lawn - even when it's pouring with rain.

Clover - I bet you're ready to put your feet up with a nice cuppa after work.

Gem - I hope GS2 is ok. things like ear infections can really drag them down.

Plant - I hope you're getting better weather than us!

Managed a 30 minute nap and feel better for it , B is fine hes hovering dog hairs out of the boot of car at the minute , just a blip I hope but I realised I still haven't relaxed yet I don't think I ever will ,
Daisy its surprising how you miss them when they go home, Storms toys are still on the lawn his outdoor toy box has half a lid hes chewed the rest so will have to buy another
Gem I must have missed about the baby , has he a ear infection ? bless him hope hes ok .

Weather update, this morning was breezy,but very sunny,dried the washing lovely.
Started raining about 2ish, and has been quite heavy.

I am officially FED UP with the weather. It's 6.30, we have the lights on and I've dug out a winter jumper because it's so cold!

Hello everyone, from a wet and windy York!

The doctor wasn't sure about a chest infection, but gave antibiotics anyway. GS, 15 months has never had any before so he's doing well. His ears are a bit sore but no infection. When DD arrived she noticed a big molar, all 4 points through! They hadn't looked at the back before, as he hasn't got the ones between those and the front ones yet! No wonder he has felt off it. He has been very up and down today, and had a lovely long sleep this afternoon, which will have done him good. Hopefully he will be feeling better soon.

It was lovely having GD for 2 nights, and as always it went too quickly and I had to let her go!
She was terribly excited as DD was picking her up to take her to a concert, with DDs friend and her 2 little girls. Sadly however it is pouring down and it is an outdoor concert

Oma, good to know B is OK, I understand your worries!

Good morning ladies. Nice and bright this morning, we ended up putting the heating on last night.
Got another wedding to take mam and dad to next Saturday. It's our niece,daughter to my sister in law that got married 3 weeks ago.
They have been together 13 years and have a 6 year old daughter.
Gem, glad GS doesn't have an ear infection.

Good Saturday morning everyone. It's already clouding over here after a bright start, and I think there's a band of rain heading our way - again!! It's moving in very fast. We were tempted to light the woodburner last night. summer? Huh!

Gem - glad GS2 is doing well. Poor little lad - those big teeth can be very painful. GD2 is still cutting teeth - she's 3 ½!!! I think these are the last two though, but it still makes her very tired and a bit grumpy.

We've got noghting on this mroning, but this afternoon we've booked an hour in a doggy playground for Eva and Bailey! It's a well-fenced field with agility equipment etc so they can run free without danger - I hope they enjoy it and run off some of their energy. Eva in particular needs to run!

Nanto - you seem to be having a run of weddings.

Good morning all and amen to your graphic Nan2, however I think a tornado swept through my house and left devastation in my home , so today is clean up time ,antibacterial wipes, dettol spray, etc is in my hands as I speak, I am going out with DD tonight to see Dirty Dancing at Leeds Grand theatre I love the music and dancing so going in early and having a cocktail before going into the theatre, DD treat for having the eldest through summer hols, I saw it in London and of course have the DVD it won't be the same without Patrick Swayze but I can live with that I suppose .
Daisy glad to hear the back is a little better ,how are you coping with G/c
Gem sorry to hear about little one this weather of warm one day chilly the other sets all sorts of bacterias off , but a big double tooth won't have helped he will soon be fine when the antibiotics get working
I forgot to mention that my docs app on Monday turned out to be an infection also so on antibiotics too well finished them now only a 3 day course
Oma I did not know B wasn't well I hope he's ok now will try and find the thread about it
Its another hectic week for me next week as it will be for quite a few of us hoping to take eldest to see the Humber Bridge and lunch out as we only have her that day on her own and time with her gets swallowed up when all three are here, so if GJ reads this I might bump into her 😀

Gem I hope little one is feeling better.Teeth are nothing but trouble.
Looka a bit gloomy here too. Such a shame for holiday makers I see trudging down to the beach with children in kagouls etc.carrying their buckets and spades.

Qwerty its taken me several days to deep clean after having the dog for a week , lost count of the anti bac wipes I used enjoy your night out xxx

We have our babies after lunch ,I will give them their holiday money today as they off sometime next week not sure what date they go , Havent seen GS1 since they came back on Thursday morning no doubt he will turn up with his friends while he's out and about today or I will see him tomorrow anyway .
