Nanto - it's a bit overcast here today, but hoping it stays dry, but not too hot for the monthly group dog walk this afternoon, plus a BBQ tonight. It's lovely to have lots of visitors - but I hope you catch up today.

Busy Day Number 2 for me - currently washing bedding ready for friend to stay Sunday night (she's looking after Eva on Monday when we go to London), then have to prep some dog food before going out just after lunch.

Just spent over a hour on the phone to my sister I have a sore throat and we laughed and talked so much my voice is going B is pleased with that the cheeky thing
DS calling with children today they need their spending money for going away on holiday next week ,
GS1 had his yesterday they going away on Wednesday and I think GS2 and GD go next Saturday,
House work done just floors to wash but will leave them till after the children have been as there is usually at least one drink spilt every time

Housework chores done Friday , I won't say a busy day more a busy 21hrs picked twins up from nursery yesterday back to our house they have tea at nursery I had made a chilli and the kids ate their supper so we sat down to chilli M had porridge 😏 J had Weetabix, playing time and then bedtime at 7.30, 3 stories read, one about a spider that sent. me over the edge. Finally they went off to sleep in grandmas bed at 8 ish, slept till 7.00 am after a slight interval of J crying saying someone was squashing him! and M lost her Katty and dummy so on hands and knees under the bed looking for them ggggrrrr it was 3.50 am 😱
Breakfast served at 7.30 more playing , bath at 9.30 and a movie after, mum and dad picked them up and set off on holiday at 1, 30 ish tired now and maybe a Nana nap this afternoon

Mimi, it was a bit of both shopping .On our way home we called in the supermarket for a top up shop.
Weather was cloudy,but muggy. The sun came out about 20 minutes ago.
We have been invited out for dinner (what most of you call lunch time) tomorrow. Eldest son invited us,his partner will be going and our youngest grandaughter.
Eldest grandaughter and her partner are hoping to be able to make it as well.

We've just got back from OH's wood turning club's BBQ. It was a lovely evening, even though I was shattered. Lots of laughs and good food. For once it wasn't too cold, although there was a bit of a breeze and I was glad I had taken a thick knitted jacket to slip on. What a pity it was white and I dripped chocolate pudding all down the front.

I like the graphic, Nanto. Good morning everyone. It's quite warm but very cloudy here and I think that's how it's likely to stay, but it will be good for GS1's birthday BBQ - not too hot.

Gem - I can't see you not having a soup maker.

I hope everyone has a good Sunday. We're going up to DS1's later this morning, and hoping to get back at a reasonable hour because we have a very early start tomorrow for our trip to the House of Commons. I need my beauty sleep!!!! LOL

Daisy, the chocolate on your white top reminds me of Friday night. One of our friends wore a white T shirt top and white lightweight jacket. I commented that it would end up with some sort of spillage if I wore it
We are going to friends later who have recently moved house. OH was asked to bring her drill We are being fed a roast however

Good morning everyone.
Dull and drizzly here this morning. I read in the paper yesterday that towards the end of the week we are in for some more hot weather.
On Sundays I usually have a long chat on the phone with my sister and then my DD. Often I remember afterwards about something I wanted to tell them or chat about so today I 'm jotting down a few things so I don't forget. Sad isn't it
The hot smoothy thing must be deployed sometime today,so I'd better get on with it and get it out of the way.

Not sad at all Clover, a very good idea! I see 2 of my DDs every week, as I look after the children, and weeks can go by with me meaning to talk about something and forgetting! I usually end up texting or facebook messaging
