    Good morning.
Wet here too. What a day for window fitting Enfys!

It does seem like a jigsaw day Clover!

Oma that kept happening to us too. It turned out to be a connection to the overhead living room light.

As we are having a day out with friends tomorrow, today is my day to do mums shopping. GD is coming later to stay until Friday

    Enjoy your day!

Well the fault turned out to be the spare bedroom light , we think when the decorator dropped the light down to paint then put it back he trapped a wire , once the man identified where the fault was it was fixed in minutes , he just replaced a bit of wire in the fitting and job done , phew

Windows all in and men gone. It wasn't bad at all, one or two heavy showers and all went well. It all looks very nice now and we hope it will make a difference in the winter.

Good morning, Ladies. Nanto - that butterfly is so cheery for a dull, chilly day.

I didn't manage to get on here propperly yesterday. Our internet connection was rubbish - it seems every time we have heavy rain it grinds to a halt! I'm so fed up with it.

Enfys - sorry I couldn't do what I promised yesterday - hopefully today will be better. Glad your windows are all done and dusted (so to speak!)

Qwerty - I've messaged you - many thanks. xx

I should be going out to lunch today, but my back is aching already and sitting down for too long makes it worse, so I'm staying home, and I'll try to keep moving, but gently!!! There are horrendous weeds in the front garden which need digging out, but I think I'll have to show OH where the big spade is kept!!!

                      Morning ladies
Daisy take things slowly , trouble is when your back is bad it effects everything doesn't it , I don't envy you having weeds to sort leave them to hubby don't go trying yourself xxx
Enfys glad the rain didn't stop the new windows getting put in , in our old house we had all ours replaced in a snow storm , I sat upstairs while they did down then ,down when they did up it was freezing , but they just got on with it and very little mess to clear up ,

B went to pick DD and family up from Airport at 1.30 this morning , so when they eventually get up and sorted Storm will be going home today , I have to admit I will miss him ,
We will go shopping this afternoon then to Martins tea time , tomorrow we are between us blitzing the house , he hasn't made a lot of mess but I can smell him and I wont settle till everything is clean, B going to wash the sofa and chairs later , Storm only allowed on Sofa at night and I cover it with blankets but I want it cleaned ,
We had a lovely afternoon yesterday with our friends and Newzealand visitors , She is a teacher and was telling us they have a terrible Drug culture there and in a class of 30 at least 3/4 have one parent in jail , what she was telling us they have the same anti social problems there as we do hear ,
Have a good day ladies xxx

                          Hello everyone.

Daisy, I sympathise about your back, backs can take while to heal.

We had a lovely day out in Filey with our GD, our friends and 3 of their GC. They all get along well, so have lovely day. We try to do this twice a year, when our friends have their 2 GDs staying. They bring their GS who lives locally along too. I plan to include my GS1 next summer. We had sun and rain, a bit of wind, more rain more sun, but a good time was had by all. Then back here for a cuppa for the grown ups and play for the children. Just us and GD now, quiet DVD time before bath and bed! Baby GS all day tomorrow, so a rest tonight is a good idea I think he will have missed his sister, who has been here since last night, and be delighted to see her in the morning.

                                Good morning ladies.

                                Windy here.

A late arrival for GS2, as his mummy has taken him to the Drs. He goes to nursery on Thursday afternoons, and they rang for DD as he was poorly with a high temperature. After Calpol, a cuddle and sleep he ate and seemed a lot better. She spoke to the doctor yesterday and was taking GS in at 9.25 this morning. He had a good night and seemed lots better, but she decided to keep the appointment anyway. There could be something underlying like an ear infection. She will bring him here afterwards.
Hopefully he will be fine, and it gives GD a little more time here by herself.
