Glad it went well, Oma. It must take a lot out of him, but he has come so far. X

Oma. I bet Brian is exhausted.I hope the rearrangement of meds. suits him.Do you have to write them all down to remember the doses and timings etc?

It's been very mild and still here today.

Enfys, have you tried a dehumidifier in the conservatory?

Yes Clover he has to take 21 different tablets over the day and when they change them it's confusing so we have a daily chart and his Anti Rejection drugs have to be taken 10 am & 10 pm so have the alarm on his phone set to remind us , it's a lot to remember but I'm sure we will get used to it soon 😊

You certainly have to be on the ball remembering the doses.

Morning all, busy day today, DD, SIL and GSs are visiting but it's not as it seems.
DD messaged me late yesterday wanting to know if we were doing anything today, we aren't so she said they would all be up. I got really excited but an hour later she said not to worry about lunch as baby GS will only need his bottle so I only have to cook for older GSs as they are having meal before they go to the cinema!
Am I being unreasonable to think that they could have at least asked if I would babysit. Naturally I would have said yes, after all I don't see them all that often as they live away and I miss them so very much. I also appreciate that DDand SIL don't get to spend time on their own and having a meal without a 6 year old and 5 month old baby is a rare treat but I also miss my DD so much and I would have loved to have been able to spend some time with her.
I shouldn't complain I know as some ladies on here don't get to see their GC hardly ever if not at all so I should be grateful for what I have.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Mimi, it would have been reasonable to ask if you would babysit, but sometimes people just don't think.
Just been cleaning the mesh filters on the extractor fan, it's a job and a half.
Got the shelves from both ovens in oven pride, been in all night, so will get them done soon.
Carpet coming this afternoon, so will be able to get straight upstairs.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Nanto you have been busy this morning, all I have done so far is put the cat out.
I use oven pride, it's good but lethal if you spill it ! I have used 'Oven pad ' before now but that stuff has one hell of a smell. Just one wiff and you feel woozy and as you have to be on your hands and knees with your head in the oven so that you can reach inside holding your breath is impossible. In the end I tied a clean towel over my nose and throat ( Just think Dick Turpin ) and got on with the job in hand.

                        Good morning all.
Today for me is finishing the present wrapping, going to see my mum, going to a client at 4.30 then OH and I are going to see friends this evening and exchange presents with them.

Mimi, we love looking after our GC, but asking before assuming you will babysit should definitely happen!
Oma you need some sort of degree to keep track of B's medications!!
You will have that lovely new carpet smell Nan2

Good morning, damp and dreary here. Off to the hairdressers soon, really need a good trim as I missed my last appointment because of my vertigo. DH is hitting the supermarket with a little list then we will have an afternoon at home finishing off little jobs. We have friends here tomorrow for a meal so will have a good tidy up too

                          Have a good day everyone.

Mimi that doesn't seem fair but sometimes children take advantage of people they love, enjoy the time with them and cuddles with GS.

Mimi I had Joe and Sadie overnight on Friday and at 10ish on Saturday dil face timed Joe and said "when is grandma bringing you back?" Eh? When did I say I was going to drive them seven miles home? She said she had just sent me a text asking me to - why not ring? I didn't get the text as she sent it to husbands phone and he was at work Anyway I said no due to not feeling well after the panic attack on Friday night in London and she had to come and collect them. Sometimes you do feel a bit taken advantage of don't you?

I don't blame you Zizi, you have babysat, they can collect their own children, especially with things as they are for you just now.
I think that generation tend to think we are all superwomen - never get ill, never need a break or any help ourselves!
