Morning all, dare i say it, could be a nice day here too, not nice enough to do windows Nana2...

Friday food shopping day, so the usual Friday duties, clean the fridge, sort freezer out, shopping list etc, we are still one of the people who go around shopping with our list, pen in hand to cross out...eeeeh how exciting...

Daisy not exciting chat with sister, she was just having a moan about her teenage lads.... mind we did sort of try and organise a few days away, with her DD and mine, think we leaving the male adult children and OH's behind...

Daisy it's that much sort of holiday destination known as..... Hereford.
Just picture the scene, as one approaches Hereford you first get to appreciate the whole essence of the place as the 'aroma' of the surrounding farms that are scattered around the country side. Cows and sheep ( lots of them) can be seen in many of the fields. If you are really lucky , as you drive along the winding country lanes you could end up behind a farmer driving his tractor. If that's not enough to encourage you to visit here the added joy of sitting in endless traffic queues is simply a fantastic way to spend many an hour(s) all because Hereford hasn't got a bypass. All traffic has to go through the city whether it wants to or not.

Joking aside, it's the most beautiful place to live. The views as you approach here are wonderful, the unspoiled country side is beautiful whatever time of the year it is.
Where I live it's about a two minute walk to get to a park that has long winding paths , turn left and you can walk into the town avoiding all traffic, or turn right and you can walk for hours without seeing one single car. There are woods to walk through, picnic areas, a lake with a family of swans and lots of ducks. Football pitches and even a fitness track with sign posts informing what benefits you would have archived if you had waked/ run the distance between one of the signs to the other !

Good morning all.

GS1 day for me today. OH and I are eating out with 2 friends tonight. These are the friends we are going to Stratford with, so we are doing some planning tonight.

Daisy and Nana, you wouod have been welcome to my ticket last night. It was a Queen tribute band. They were good, but I didn't enjoy it. It was too loud and I was bored ( I know, I sound about 95!) I put scrunched up bits of tissue in my ears during the interval, which made part 2 slightly more bearable

Had a lovely day at the Chichester Cathedral Flower Show with WI friends, it was amazing and lots of stalls, very tiring, legs felt very heavy, my friend and I gave up on the last bit and found some refreshment. It was very cold at first but then the sun came out and I looked very silly in a waterproof coat. Got home quite late, traffic was bad.

Gem I think it spoils everything when the music is booming out you sort of tune into the base and the rest is just noise isn't it .

Went to order some boarder tiles this morning to go with the tiles I have bought for utility and we passed Screw fix they were advertising soft close toilet seats reduced from £25.99 to £14.99 so I made Brian stop the car and I went in and bought 2 . When I came out he just shook his head , why do you need them he asked , well I didn't need them but at that price I wanted them 😀

We have those soft closing toilet seats Oma. We didn't need them, I think it was just the novelty of them.

Aggie, which washing machine are you getting, I'm nosy. We got a new one a year ago.

Hairdresser came today, hovered and steam cleaned the kitchen floor after she had gone.
Sun came out about 4pm, and warmed things up a bit.
Hermes delivered a set of seat pads today. I had a set delivered last weekend, MIL decided she wanted some the same, so I let her have the 1st set, and ordered another set for us.

Went in shower come out put PJ,s on sat at dressing table to comb hair ,thought it felt strange then realised I hadn't washed the conditioner out , so back I went to wash it out with head over sink ,managed to get it in my eyes so then had to wash them out with eye drops by this time PJ top was soaking so had to change it but before I got it on I dropped it down the loo 😲 what a carry on 😊
