Qwerty - I hope little J is better, poor little chap.
LG - if proof were needed that ironing is an undesirable activity, you've just proved it. I hope your ankle will soon be better.
Gem - 7 weeks already - it doesn't seem that long. Oh dear, babyhood speeds by so quickly.
Nana - how did your hospital appointment go?

Daisy, just quickly as I'm off to bed. Thanks for asking. It was a complete waste of time going ...basically I've to live with this racking cough or he offered me an unlicensed drug. Also said ENT always go for Silent Reflux diagnosis & it won't be, so in his opinion therefor it's a waste of my time taking what they prescribed. Feeling downhearted. Night 😟"Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Nana I do hope you are feeling better this morning.
Well this makes a lovely change I'm still in bed. OH is up and has brought me a cup of tea !
OH has to be up early to catch the train to Birmingham. He has an appointment at the hospital. He goes 4 times a year for Botox injections above his eye brow, under his eye lid and in the corner of his mouth. This is to stop his eye closing permanently and hopefully control his facial spasms. We have noticed that since his heart attack the medication he has to take to lower his blood pressure has helped enormously with the spasms. Swings and roundabouts I suppose.
The journey to the hospital and back takes up most of the day, the actual procedure takes two minutes. Unfortunately our hospital does not have the facilities to do such a procedure which is a shame as it costs an arm and a leg in train fare !Bring me sunshine in your smile.
