I do my housework every morning so to be honest it sounds like I do a lot but it's never really dirty , I have just done the bedrooms and bathroom it only took 20 mins , it is such a small house not like our huge house we had before I know I wouldn't have been able to keep that and the garden up now , Brian does his bit too he tends to get the big hoover out a couple times a week it's too heavy for me and I run around with my Dyson stick one everyday , Weekends are my clean up after the dog days now it's like having little ones again 😊

Oma, hope Brians cold doesn't hang around for too long.
Daisy, I didn't intend going clothes shopping, but I popped into Bon Marche for some new underwear,so bought a top with butterflies on and some white trousers for on holiday.
Gem, I hope you all enjoyed the show.

Nanto - it's probably my fault you ended up buying clothes - the power of suggestion and all that! It sounds like an ideal holiday outfit, though. Well done. I hope the snow's not too bad oop north!

We're hoping to get a walk on the beach tomorrow. OH has to go and see someone in Sandbanks (the very posh place near Libra Gran's) so we're taking Eva - we don't know if she's used to the beach or not.

We had a lovely time (I will write more about it on another thread ) and no sign of snow at all when we were in Leeds. We left at 4.30 and ate out closer to home.

Enjoy your visit to the Sandbanks Daisy. We once watched a programme about that area.

We had about 2 inches of snow last night.Hope we don't get anymore.
Just checked the forecast, no snow today for us, unless they have got it wrong.

                        Good morning, Nanto, and everyone.

Nanto - Sandbanks really is like another world! Most of the older houses have been demolished and replaced by mini-palaces. We only ever seem to visit in the winter, but in the summer it's very busy. OH has a theory that all these people paying Β£4 + million for a tiny house will have a dreadful shock when the sea levels rise and it's all washed away!

After a couple of days of sunshine, it's back to dull damp and dark here. Roll on Spring!

Have a good day everyone irrespective of the weather.

Went to Brownsea Island last year, how the rich live. what do you call the beach leading to the ferry, used to love walking along it with OH, too wet and windy last year.

                            Good morning all.

It snowed overnight, but very lightly. No heating again this morning, and this time OH can't fix it
                            Man coming tomorrow.
Luckily we have a coal effect gas fire in the living room, and an electric convector heater we can move around. Gas burners in the kitchen soon warm that up. GD is made of sterner stuff than us, she hasn't even got her jumper on over her T shirt!!

DD coming for lunch as SIL is away karate-ing. Nothing much planned later, apart from keeping warm
