Good morning.
I'm glad you had a good night, Oma. I know exactly what you mean about climbing in. In one of our Cape Cod hotels we were upgraded and had a whirlpool bath, in our bedroom. It was raised to you have to climb on a step ,then with short legs, it was really hard to get in into the bath! Were I in a new relationship, I would have stayed out of it
Have fun Avo!

Well, well we have today, had a lovely time at the park soaking up the lovely warmth of the sun, of course Shiloh found every rank muddy puddle there was to find, and there's plenty at the park. The draining is abysmal down there, they have spend thousands of pounds over the years trying to sort it out,but as Blue pond ran through it for hundreds of years my Father said they would never solve the problem and this is proving to be true.Thank goodness for stout wellington boots. Pup is having his morning/lunchtime sleep and I have some of that horrid to get on with."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

I think some of you might remember that my OH and I run our church baby and toddler group . We have done this for two years after I had been with my youngest GD for two years and the ladies who ran it were giving up. Well, first day back this morning and we had a lot of new people, forty nine children from 4 weeks four years. Clearing up afterwards we found a purse in the bin in the ladies toilet. We were able to ring the owner but money and cards had been taken. We do tell them not to bring money and to keep their bags with them. I can't believe that mums would do something like this to other mums. It has upset me that this could happen when it is run by volunteers and is such a happy and friendly group.

Oh Millie, how awful! I can imagine how you felt. You just don't think something like this would happen in a toddler group.
As you say, people will have to keep their possessions on them now, if they must bring money and cards.
Don't let this sour the lovely happy group you have. That was just one person, and sadly you can find people like that anywhere.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Ladies - please can we have a round of applause for Gemini on her 4,000th post. I was going to put it up as an announcement but we're not really into 'who makes the most posts competition' and she would have been embarrassed, but Elisi and I are very grateful that she keeps her eye on so many things, from birthdays, babies, news and anything affecting us grannies. Thanks, Gem. xx"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "
