Morning ladies both child and dog were very good last night , Josh went to bed at 10 , Storm took himself off to lie on the landing at 11 and didn't move till 7 am stepped over him a couple of times during night going to loo and he didn't even lift his head , they both Fed and watered just waiting for DD to pick them up at 11 Storm has puppy training class at 12 then I can sort out what I'm taking tonight , have a good day everyone

Afternoon all awaiting arrival of DD to take g/d back but don't expect she will arrive till mid afternoon🙄 then await arrival of DS for Sunday lunch at 5 as he is decorating no worries though we gave a whole week off to ourselves, I feel a visi to IKEA coming on!
Coughs are the most unpleasant things about a cold Plant hope it goes soon it makes you so miserable I know.
Oma you will need to pack your long johns leave the spandex at home 😂

Afternoon all, trying desperately to stay awake I'm not sure what is going on but all weekend I have been feeling out of sorts, I went to yoga yesterday morning and that was fine but on the way home I could hardly get up the hill to my flat. I felt shakey and rather hungry, and extremely tired, cup of coffee and a biscuit seemed to help but as I walked around my flat I was really dizzy. DD , SIL and GS arrived for a quick visit and still I felt 'odd'
Today I am not so dizzy but still very tired, it's an effort to keep my eyes open. Obviously I am not as young as I was and my body is happy to let me know about it .

Sorry you are not feeling well Mimi. I'm not an expert but it sounds to me as if your blood sugar was a bit low. I've had feelings like that when mine is down.It's a horrible ,panicky feeling and I crave food when it happens. Doctors have never been too concerned ,one just told me to always carry a Mars bar with me If your body is telling you to sleep that is what it wants and needs.
I've joined the ranks of those under the weather,having had a rotten cold and lack of energy for the past week! I can't remember the last time I had a cold so now I'm getting neurotic that I've picked this one up because my immune system is beginning to suffer due to the Lymphoma I've recently discovered I've got.Must pull myself together and think rationally that it's just a coincidence.
Plant I hope your cough clears up soon. You'll feel better when you're back in routine in your own house.

Mimi, Clover could be right, just a case of low blood sugar. You could be coming down with something, but fingers crossed that you are not, and will soon feel fine.
Clover, you worry in the same way that I worry that every cough or headache OH has is the sign of something much worse. Colds are rife at this time of year , so the fact that you have one is no surprise. In fact, worrying and feeling anxious as you will have done lately is far more likely to be the culprit, if anything. Stress can temporarily lower our immune system, laying us low with bugs. Get well soon!

I thought we were in for a quiet day,but granddaughter rang about 12, asking if she could come and bring her friend, so hubby went to pick them up.We hadn't met the friend before, but she is a lovely girl,we took it as a compliment, that her friend wanted to come.
Took them to the pub for something to eat, then we have all played board games and dominoes for the rest of the afternoon.Hubby has just come back from taking them home.

I'm off for a day at the Spa with my two Daughters-in-Law, it is my Christmas Present from them.....having a facial, and a massage, as well as
swimming, sauna, steam room and lunch!
