This morning I am going to my friends cafe, which she opened a year ago, with money left to her by her mum. She is a reflexologist like me (we met when training ) but didn't have many clients and the work was making her neck ache badly, so she took on this new venture. As well as seeing her, and having a coffee I want to discuss possibly holding DDs baby shower there

Reflexology for me this afternoon. My monthly treat!

Out to lunch with friends today, so a quick whizz round so we're all tidy for when they come back for coffee.

Just started crochet again, hadn't done it for years and just fancied having something I could pick up in the evenings instead of watching too much rubbish TV! Really enjoying it, am making a stripey blanket....will probably be glad of it if it turns colder

A dark and dismal rainy day here again this morning. Out soon for my craft day so I will be inside having a nice time with friends. Just right for a dull wintry day . Have a good Saturday everyone

Good morning, ladies. I feel as though I haven't been here for ages, but we've had visitors for 3 days and before that it was back to looking after GD2. The visitors were OH's eldest brother and his wife who had to go to a funeral near here. It was lovely to see them, despite the sad reason for their visit.

Today is at least dry, although I think Enfys' rain is heading this way.

I need to catch up with household things - loads of washing etc, and kitchen is like a bomb site and I haven't even sorted out photos I took over Christmas! I'm hoping I can get most jobs done today so I can have an easy day tomorrow before the new week starts. Workmen are arriving on Monday morning to relay the drive and front garden. I'm dreading it, although it badly needs doing. They're also replacing the side gate so we've got to find a way of keeping Eva safely in the back garden!

Roll on Spring is all I can say!

I got OH to bring boxes of photos down from the loft before Christmas, as DD3 needed a childhood photo. I wouldn't let her put them back until I had time for a proper look through them. I intend to today

DD1 will be 40 next month, so I want a photo for FB on that day. We are also having a babyshower type celebration for DD2 next month for which we all need a baby photo. I am providing all 3 DDs pics, as well as my own and GDs, so I can choose those too.

Speaking of which, that would be a fun thing to do at our next gathering, if most of us have access to a baby or childhood photo of our selves!

Well I needed this when I am looking after my grandsons. I have a terrible cough, haven't had a cold just a chesty cough. I am back at my own house, GS will sleep until 12, then we are going to have lunch at his local pub, I will leave him at his house so he can have some home-time then GD will pick him up and bring him here for another night and then we are back to their house, brother will be back from camp. They will be off to school Mon. morning and then my duty is done. Hope the parents are having a good time. Of all the time to get a chesty cough, just hope I haven't passed it around. Have fun

Oh Plant that's all you need , this time of year germs are everywhere you take care of yourself maybe it's been too cold in your DD house , we had the Dog yesterday then Josh at tea time SIL came for him then Brian,s Brother came for his tea it was after 8 when he went home and I got dishes done , woke with a headache today but have Josh and the dog from 3 pm till lunch time tomorrow DD & SIL away for the night it was part of our Christmas present to them a romantic night in a hotel with evening meal and breakfast , thought they would have waited till Valentines day to use it but they wanted to go now . We away tomorrow night to Lumley Castle for the night and Medieval Banquet looking forward to that been a few times but along time ago , Lord knows when I will find time to do my housework

Good afternoon ladies well I lived to tell the tale and kept our twins safe and sound and funnily enough I am still sane too, they are on hols this next week so will be recharging batteries, Glam wish me luck my Botox is due week after next, hate it but it has to be done.
I should have been on yesterday but OH took me out for a bit of retail therapy all I bought was some Xmas ribbon and a book but it's our reward for a gruelling week and lunch out was very nice, then fri night till Sunday we have eldest g/d our choice I don't want her to feel left out, DS for Sunday lunch as Dil is away with her mum and he has a week off to decorate the kitchen.
Plant you need a few hot toddies take care of yourself.
A few family social events for you Gem that will be nice.
Daisy try and get some rest your busy busy!
Isn't it strange how many of our DD's and DS houses feel cold I always take a cardigan when I go to DS never have to bother at home and DD house the same they have 2 dogs and a cat and leave the doors opened so the animals can come and go !!!!

GS phoned me just now, with mummy's help. He wanted to ell me that had sent me a photo of the hat they made from the Octonauts magazine I bought him. I heard him keep saying. 'and then when she's seen it can we see her?' DD explained he would see me on Wednesday. so he said. 'In the morning it WILL be Wednesday,then I will see her!' Aww, bless him!

Just had very heavy rain for ½ hour.
Hubby decided we needed a holiday,so have booked for Gran Canaria at the end of February. We have been before,but it's about 24/25 years ago.
