Not raining, but it does look very damp outside.
There doesn't seem to be an end to the rain.

        Good morning.
Wet here too, with a nasty grey-white sky!

I have 2 clients this afternoon, who are also friends, so it is a sociable occasion. My therapy room had been Christmas Central since my last client before Christmas. All the wrapping stuff and decorations boxes from the loft were in there. Yesterday I moved them all to the spare bedroom. No one can sleep in that bed until they are put back in the loft!

Dry here today thank goodness but a bit chilly.

DGD is on her way to visit DS in Australia all on her own. She was so excited but a bit nervous but is on her way now. They have lots of plans for her and I know she will have a fantastic time. Can't believe she is so grown up, still my baby girl

Well I braved the rain and went into town for some cheeky shopping, everywhere was like a jumble sale I can't be bothered rooting round rails you spot something on a rail yes the plastic bobble thing says it's my size, oh no it isn't I gave up in the end.
Still I bought some ankle boots at Faith half price, some leggings, a skirt, dress, and a long tunic so not a bad day I always go to a little shop for a coffee but now Sushi yuk!!

                        Good morning.

Work this afternoon, just one client, but a home visit. Before that we will get on with taking the decorations down. I also must steam the kitchen and hallway floors. There are many muddy cat pawprints on them!

It's a bit late for me to say 'good morning', but 'hello' anyway! I forgot to charge my iPad last night so didn't get a chance to drop in earlier when I was looking after GD2.

Today was the first day back at school for GD1 and GS1. GD1 came home bouncing with excitement because they had been astronauts flying to the moon!!! She wanted to play Rapunzel and I was to be the night. So I lay on the beanbag and pretended to go to sleep (well it was night!) and she was quite indignant "Grandma! Not that kind of night - I mean a KNIGHT!" Ooops. but I did enjoy the few seconds rest.

Sounds like you had fun with grandchildren Daisy.

Just got everything in the slow cooker for a beef casserole.

Good morning Nanto and every one else.

Your casserole will be delicious by tonight. I've just taken one out of the freezer for tonight - OH's brother and wife are visiting for a couple of days and we also have friends coming round tonight. It's a very basic casserole at the moment so I'm going to add something to it - possibly dumplings for a change. Unless anybody has got a better idea?

I can't decide what to do for an easy foolproof pud. Any ideas, please? OH is going to go shopping later so I can get ingredients, but I've got so much to do today before they arrive!

Some sort of fruit crumble. Daisy...always goes down well with custard or cream

DGD is now in Australia with DS and enjoying a reunion with her cousin, our youngest GS. She was very nervous about the flight and having to change in Dubai but all went well and they've already sent lots of photos. dD can relax now and know she will be having fun.

Lots of clearing up here and it's nice to be back to normal. I've been busy knitting little hats for the local premature baby unit as I'm making an effort to do more with my time and not just sit!!
