Daisy as you mentioned your OH and his hobby, I wondered if he ever uses grape vine wood as I am about to remove ours from the greenhouse and the lower part is very thick. Just though I would mention it just in case
Plant - thank you so much for thinking about him. He's out at the moment, so I'll ask him when he comes in and get back to you.
Oma - the cold weather is probably perfect Husky weather!

Bruddy rain here again started out dry and fortunately only started at the end of doggy walk. He's a typical spaniel a real mud/puddle magnet. While pup has had his nap I have made a chicken & mushroom pie in tarragon sauce for dinner. Going to attack a pile of ironing or maybe not- decisions, decisions.
It has been grey and overcast all day today. We have been having a great deal of trouble getting up the last few mornings so set the alarm fro 7.30. I woke at 6.30am and watched BBC news from the bed, lazy bones didn't get up until 9am by which time I had done all sorts including putting some washing in, clean towels in bathroom etc. etc. we trotted off to the butchers and greengrocers this morning, completely forgot to drop the children's pocket money in but never mind!
I am NOT going to do any ironing at all - text has been sent to ironing fairy extraordinaire for Monday. I have been through all of my emails and now have an inbox which is refilling itself, not going to look at it until Monday now.
If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together
Been a day of heavy rain and sunshine, had a lot of rainbows today.
Helped hubby to have a clear out in the shed today. Mind you, having said that he hasn't got rid of anything, but it's neatly tidied up now.
Just had a lovely hot shower, felt rather mucky after doing the shed.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Plant - I've asked my OH about your grape vine trunk and he says that any of the trunk or branches more than 3" or 4 " in diameter are good for turning. So if you have any you'd like to get rid of, would you let me know, please? OH can come and collect!

I am going to start cutting down from inside first and then get SIL to saw the thick part. I am sure they are at least 3/4 inches in diameter. Will start the removing soon so will let you know.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
We have eldest G/d for the weekend they switch on the Christmas lights Saturday it's a lovely festive day in the village lots of stalls Santas grotto, brass band, choir fairground rides and fireworks love it.
Oma hope Brian feels more comfortable today.
Daisy how are you and OH after your upset with Clyde hope things aren't too bad
Sounds lovely Qwerty, I bet you'll all enjoy it. I was thinking of Brian & Daisy too. I wondered Daisy if your OH has a website where he sells his work? If he has I don't think it would be classed as advertising if you let us know. Later, (when I eventually go to bed) when I start my day we're taking GS1 out for the day. Looking forward to that. Hope you all have a good day.

Dark, overcast, rainy. Got up about 6 to get a drink and went back to bed, now I have got up because between him snoring for bruddy England in my ear and his mobile phone alarm going off in a pocket somewhere there is no point in trying to stay in bed! Cannot find the damned thing so got to put up with it until the battery dies which won't be long as he always forgets to charge it.

Plant - Many thanks. We've got a trailer if there's lots of it.
Qwerty - what a lovely day! Thank you for asking how we are. We're ok-ish. We're missing Clyde such a lot though. Not only was he a little darling he was also a structure to our days (especially after he became diabetic). I find myself drooling over every dog I meet, and of course I keep checking to see if he's in a room before I close the door on him, things like that. It's strange him not being in the kitchen when I'm cooking. I cut a piece off a red pepper for him the other day! Still we have to remember we were lucky to have him, and Rusty, for so long, and be thankful.
Nana -OH has got a holding page, and I'm probably going to make him an FB page, but he needs to build up some more stock before opening for business properly. Funnily enough I photographed some things for him yesterday. I'll put some of them up later.
Morning ladies Brian is fine now thanks for asking 😀 we off to a Christmas craft fair at 11 just a nosy see if anything catches my eye , it snowed a blizzard last night I was up till 3.30 and it was thick but the rain and high winds washed it away , my pots at front door were on there sides this morning with the top decorative gravel all over it was freezing out while I cleared it up , fur knickers weather out there folk 😁
Morning all , such a windy night here , the plastic chair I set the wash basket on , while I hang up the washing , is somewhere ! ... but not near the line !. I can't get used to this page opening at the bottom ? I have to scroll up to find where I left off !
