Qwerty, it is natural to worry. I'm a big worrier on the quiet!! However, it's gone on too long to be anything sinister. You would be a lot more ill, plus you have had lots of tests, Easy to say I know but try not too worry, and I hope they get to the cause of it soon. Fingers crossed the cough stays away tomorrow, and you enjoy your time with your friends xx

it's been a lovely evening weatherwise, so hubby and me have been for a walk. Both of us enjoyed it.It was nice to walk along streets we don't use, and see all the different gardens.
Hope you are OK for tomorrow Qwerty, and enjoy your lunch with friends.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good morning everyone.
Sunny day here, with a breeze.
I have my BP check this morning (it was a bit high last week so they are checking again today) plus the annual bloods.

Good luck Gemini with BP test. I had mine last week and had 'white coat' syndrome but was ok in the end!
ZIZI.....my DD has a Hiatus Hernia and has been to NHS then in despair Privately through her OH's work health plan and in her case it is too small to do anything with, apparently, yet she has many unpleasant symptoms to deal with, not every day but often enough. The Hernia is preventing her from swallowing properly and digesting her food fully, but no one offers a solution. She's had an endoscopy etc., and it's a case of oh well, you'll have to put up with that and the Acid Reflux it causes until it grows bigger πΆπ§
I just hope your OH finds it easier to get treatment xOnly those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go. T.S Eliot

Thanks Elisi, BP was OK this week, so need to go back, until my usual check.
She's testing cholesterol and glucose as well as my usual annual check to see kidneys are fine on the BP meds. Nail biting until I get the results of the cholesterol and glucose!!βA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.β β Unknown

WG, many thanks, and yes, DD also takes Omeprazole and has been told it will be the rest of her life. Ditto special pillows. They don't seem to swing into action with these hernias do they? Maybe it has always been a case of let's wait and see ???Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go. T.S Eliot
