Qwerty - I bet if you make it onto here for the Advent slot tomorrow it will be with a baby tucked under each arm! I do hope you get a peaceful night.

Oma - St Bernard with flask of brandy and a plate of mince pies is on his way through the drifts of snow to you right now!!

Ooops - it looks as though he's eaten the mince pies! I've got to make some more so I'll send you some of those. Don't let him get into the bath with Josh and Storm - he'll cause a tsunami.

Happy, peaceful and beautiful Sunday from me.

The day has dawned clam, and dry thank goodness. I'll hopefully get some washing out on the line.

Wouldn't like him in the bath Daisy he's a big lad 😂 Hope Qwerty survived her first sleep over of babies , Bright crisp day hear road looks lethal though the cars made it slushy and it's froze overnight ,

                Good morning everyone.
Qwerty will be knee deep in babies right now. I know she had them all yesterday afternoon and overnight, I'm not sure what time they are being collected.

Out for Sunday lunch today. With 2 friends we haven't seen for a while. To exchange Christmas cards, and catch up.
The soggy Christmas tree will have dried out now, so we will decorate that this morning!

                Have a good day everyone.

I know Oma there was a time not so long ago when he would just blatantly not turn up to get them and remain in bed with a hang over. We did have a few occasions where I had words with him. He was telling us that the dinner he and dil were at last night was paid for by one of his supplies and the drinks bill came to £6800! Now call me old fashioned, and you all know I appreciate a tipple but that is, in my opinion, a terrible amount of money to spend on booze for so few people (12).

I am having a quiet day today as did an incredible amount of the horrible H stuff yesterday. Husband working, took him in this morning at 10.30. He will be home about 7pm so I am making a steak casserole. Opened a nice bottle of red and chucked some in. Working from home tomorrow as have a project to do for my boss.

Afternoon ladies, dull and yuk here but dry.Did some housework, walked the dog,and boy he is like a missile if there's a muddy puddle to be found he hones in on it. I was hoping he would go into the stream to clean himself off,but he wasn't having any of that because there was a big scary Alsation in there lol .So one mud magnet now bathed AGAIN. I'm back on antibiotics for yet another chest infection-oh joy. Hope your on the mend ZIZI, and hoping Qwerty survived her marathon babysitting session.

Thanks for your concerns but the last 24hrs went down a treat I am getting good at handling two babies on the knee, so much for being the first to enter advent for today the kids slept from 7pm to 8am I suppose the whiskey I put in their bottles will have helped, dodgy bathing two wriggly babies in the bath and had to change my clothes as I was soaked and had forgotten the splish splashing that goes on at this age I fear the floodgates will be open now I am booked for a night sleepover between Xmas and new year 😉 Don't know what the gas bill will be we left the heating on a low light all night, I don't like these padded over bags they have now no tucking them into bed doesn't feel right call me old fashioned you can't beat nice cot blankets.

My youngest 2 had the duvet type sleep bags, they are good if baby has a habit of wriggling out the bed clothes, they stay warm.

I know what you mean Q. All of mine had sleeping bag type things and I put microfibre blankets over them and tucked them in, it didn't feel right to me to just drop them in the cot either!

Libra I still have a variety of ailments but I am getting on with it. I shall pick it all up after Christmas. I was offered a hospital appointment between Christmas and new year but I want husband to come. I am a bit uncomfortable but I have had to sort myself out (in that direction). I am going to have a "body MOT" on my private healthcare in January. They will probably decide I am too expensive to insure and kick me out of the scheme!
