Good Sunday morning, ladies. I hope the sun is shining for you all. It's dull and overcast and non too warm here! Again
Gem - I'm glad you had a good journey. Where are you going today?
We're going to DS1's later for his birthday lunch. Unfortunately rain is forecast for about 3 pm, so it's a good job we didn't plan a BBQ!

Well we are selling our little 2seater sports car a sign of old age, it's very low to the floor and we both struggle a little to get out of it. I am sad to see it go as OH has spent hours doing it up , we are thinks by about buying more of a car that's convertible one we can get in and out of, and that I can use all year as I have never got on with the tank its luxury but too big for me I'm ok when hubby drives I'm never satisfied .You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Hi everyone, from rainy, drizzly Cornwall. This is why I never want to come here, it's too far to travel for poor weather! Tomorrow's forecast is better, but to be honest it's not brilliant the whole time we are here . We will still enjoy ourselves though
I'm very annoyed, as my transfer via GolbalWebPay for the Spanish holiday balance, which I sent before referendum day, went wrong in some way, so I had to resend it again, and of course now it is costing us another £67, due to the poor exchange rate. No point stressing over it though.
Qwerty, I remember you getting that car.
Mimi I would be really interested in that course. One day, when things are a little less busy, I would like to do some courses.
I hope your DS has a good birthday lunch Daisy.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

( Drum roll) ta da. Today I officially typed out my letter informing my boss I shall be leaving MC on or before 18th October, depending when my last shift falls. We had discussed it and she knew my plans, but today it is official. So excited."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

I am looking forward to next weekend when we take the littl people to Chessington. My brothers stepdaughter is there with her three daughters this weekend.
I told Sadie yesterday she had to put her good girl head on for the weekend. Joe is not keen on her sharing the three child room adjoining ours and said to dil yesterday about possibly moving the trundle bed from the room into our room for the night but she said not to and she would speak to Joe. Sadie is very excited and wanted to know if we could hair and lipstick in the evening.
This is week is busy. I am working st home tomorrow as I have to get a presentation completed, Stupid thing is that on my new work laptop and my new personal laptop the PowerPoint will not let me put sounds in so I am going to have to work on the old personal laptop which is about 8 years old! There is an example of technology improving your working life NOT! I am taking Tuesday to do a bit of packing in between a telephone conference call and emails etc. and Wednesday I have to go and retrieve a ton of stuff from my work storage as Thursday I am doing "Building Sites Are Not Playgrounds" at a school near Kings Cross London with thirty year 6 children. Friday we will be moving the furniture and putting the dust sheets down in preparation for Monday which I will write about on my new kitchen thread.
I am also expecting to hear something about the job I interviewed for this week. I will be interested to see what the reaction was to my experience but I think I have decided that unless it is a completely exceptional offer I will turn it it down - well I might be ahead of myself, they might not have even liked me!!!If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together

Just finished painting and emulsion the Bathroom just need the new heated towel rail fitted and that's done till I see a new sink and floating vanity unit I like , everything tidy again and I'm worn out , it's not so much the painting as to be honest it's mostly tiled from top to bottom only one wall half tiled but it's painting the ceiling , having a dodgy disc in my neck makes me go dizzy if I hold my head back too long , it's done now though , all that's left is downstairs loo and Utility but can't do that till BIL has tiled it and put some new wall cupboards up for me . Going to treat myself to a cornetto I need to cool down . (My excuse and I'm sticking to it )😊Im not fat just 6ft too small

The only thing about having a company car is that, although you pay tax on the benefit in kind, you know that if you get up in the morning and there is something wrong you just phone a number and it is sorted. It is a bit lazy but I have got used to it.
QWERTY the Peugeot fleet has bigger convertible vehicles but the company is expensive on the repairs. If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together
