Afternoon ladies waiting for parcels to arrive no time limit so could be anytime it's cold today got Dog lying snoring across my feet so they are burning hot he's a big lump now and rather heavy , he also stinks 😀😜 need a nose peg , Brian will have to go pick Josh up if man with a van hasn't been by then 😕

Sorry, not been able to catch up with everyone.Eldest got the keys to his new house while we were away,so been busy cleaning.The house was left beautifuly clean,but you know what we ladies are like,i wanted to make sure it was all done to my standards.
Kitchen and utility room done,i'm going back now,to give the bathroom a good going over.

My visit to the hospital went well. The doctor confirmed it is a bCC and needs to be removed so I am having it done in January. She wasn't sure, as it is so close to my eye, whether I would need a general or local anaesthetic so she called the surgeon who will be doing the op for her to look at it. She was very nice, reassured me that it will be easy to remove and that a local will be fine. I feel so much better now, they were both so friendly and helpful and answered all my questions.

Good news Enfys, pleased you feel much more relaxed about the proceedure.

Enfys - so pleased for you that the lump can be removed under a local, and you haven't got too long to wait for the op. We went to the Miramar for lunch. They've held the Christmas lunch there for years, but while the food is quite good, the service was a bit patchy. OH didn't get gravy for his turkey until the meal had gone cold, despite asking twice, and a waiter dropped a pile of plates and one of them hit me on the shoulder - no apology! But the worst thing, my portion of Christmas pud was tiny and had hardly any custard. Still, it was great catching up with everyone's news, and we got there early (with friends) and had a lovely coffee looking out over the back gardens to the sea and the sun was shining ... it almost looked summery!

Then we came back home and went straight out again to do a supermarket shop! Off to bed now exhausted, and we're going out early tomorrow to do the dreaded Christmas shopping in Southampton! It would be find if I had bright ideas what to get for people, but I don't!

Nanto - I hope your DS is happy in his new home - well done on getting it all ship shape for him. I'm sure he appreciates it.

Plant - I hope your GD has a lovely birthday and you all enjoy your evening out.

Morning everyone. It's another windy day here today. I've had to get up in the middle of the night to sellotape the letterbox down from the outside to stop the wind from lifting it up and down , it sounds as if someone is knocking at the front door. !
Fingers crossed, we should have a fairly quiet weekend, no GC coming to stay so we can get on with putting up the Christmas decorations.

Very windy here too. Out today for my monthly craft day. We have our Christmas party today so I have sausage rolls in the oven and other nibbles packed up ready to go. Have a good Saturday everyone

Hi everyone. This wind seems to be covering the whole country!!

I have to pop out and get a few little things for OHs stocking this morning. She is having coffee with a couple of golf club friends, so it is a good opportunity for me to do it.
We had planned to put outdoor lights up this weekend, but its much too windy!
Tonight is the murder mystery party!
Enfys, one of tonight's hosts had a cancerous lump removed from her face a few weeks ago, it is healing nicely now.

What a windy day and night next doors light up Reindeer are lying on the lawn Rudolph looks drunk and the others look dead 😂 poor reindeer , lots of ironing done today now sitting with hair dye on try to hide the rapidly spreading grey would leave it if all over but it's just fringe sides and roots down the middle not a good look 😊
