Hope all goes well for Brian today. Well have been and done it, had my hair cut into a short bob. Not going to colour it although it needs doing. After perming and colouring she said my hair is in poor condition. Going to grow all the colour out and later have low & high lights instead. Very mild weather, haven't needed a big coat yet long may it continue."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

Well the chemo went well once it arrived on the ward , appointment for 10 it was 11.30 by time pharmacy brought it , some tablets that were ordered yesterday still not ready so they sending them to our unit at washington for tomorrow it's been chaos the nurses are taking the brunt of some very moany nasty patients , it's not the nurses fault it's pharmacy who take so long . Never mind we back home now 😊Im not fat just 6ft too small

They have a list each day Plant so they make it up in appointment slot supposed to be within 15 minutes but it never happens then the unit is short staffed so it's finding a nurse to go for it , but to be honest we don't mind, at least he gets treatment some people just don't get that optionIm not fat just 6ft too small

Oma - I'm glad today went as well as it could. You must both be glad that's another one off the list.
It's so frustrating when the various parts of the NHS/hospital don't co-ordinate properly, but people can only do so much in a day's work and if they are short-staffed something is bound to suffer. I bet the nurses say thank goodness for patients like Brian who are so appreciative and co-operative. xxx

No point grumbling Daisy the nurses do as much as they can , they all had only 10 minutes to get a hot drink and snatch a bite to eat today for lunch and thats not unusual some days we have been and they havent even managed that , yet they always have a smile on there faces and go out of there way to make things easy for you , they have 2 on Maternity leave 3 off sick and one has left and not been replaced , The volunteers who make tea and coffee and lunch for the patients were filling the trolleys up for them today so they didnt have to keep going and getting dressings etc ,Im not fat just 6ft too small

Good morning everyone.
I had a packed day and evening yesterday, but a nice one!
Today I must do some housework and finish writing Christmas cards. Later I have to go to Debenhams to collect some online orders and pop into M & S next door to get something nice for ex husband and his wife to take as a little gift as we shall be there on Christmas Eve. That is my Christmas shopping finished. Just a couple more things to get on behalf of my mum.
Then I will collect GD from school, take her home them back to school for her play. As I said on another thread I have been lucky enough to be granted an extra ticket, so can go and see it with SIL. She is a sheep“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
