Rained all night here as well, Nan2.
It is GDs birthday tomorrow, so I expect a very giddy excited little girl to collect from school today She was excited enough last Wednesday, that it was a week away!

It is very grey and overcast here, rained most of the day yesterday. I am busy working on my presentation and also updating the information pack for my successor. I have been sitting at my laptop since 7am and my bum is numb now! I forgot to take the chicken it of the freezer for dinner and it is solid! Might have to have the lasagne I was planning to put together this afternoon and freeze instead. I have got the bolognaise and the cheese sauce ready so it won't be difficult. Went food shopping this morning its been like pea soup outside since last night , came out of Asda and it was bouncing down no umbrella with me, so a quick sprint to car unload and take trolley back then back to car by this time i was like a drowned rat , My lovely blow dried hair was sticking to my head

Nadiya was consistently good tonight and I think she deserved to win, although I thought that amazing sugar work on Tamal's showstopper was fantastic. Wouldn't it be great if we could taste along with the judges!

I don't watch that programme. I am a little bit obsessive with my freezer. I have a list inside one of my cupboards and get really cross if husband doesn't cross things off or even worse, puts things in the freezer which are unmarked and unlisted.
