      Good morning to all.

Oma, it sounds as if you need to rest that hand a bit longer xx

WG, a lovely break for you by the sound of it.

I bet your GD feels very grown up with her job Lizzie.

Good luck with the grass cutting Nan2. Lovely weather here today but OH got ours done yesterday before the rain came.

For once Daisy it sounds as if we have nicer weather than you! Breezy but very sunny with a blue sky we haven't seen for a long time.

No plans today until this evening We are going to one of our favourite restaurants, the family run Chinese in the village.

      Happy Sunday everyone

Another lovely sunny morning, I planned to get up early but it was 9.30 when I got up. I hate to miss these lovely sunny mornings. Not planning much today, have a very small job in the garden to do. I have an on-line grocery order to do with Waitrose and a card to deliver to a friend who has broken her arm. GD2 and her partner will be returning to London later. They are moving in next door soon so they will be on the spot to look at properties. H starts pre-school tomorrow, where have those years gone.

Gemini, enjoy your quiet day and your meal this evening. You are like my DD, very rarely without GC, nice to have a free day occasionally.

Oma, I hope your painful arm will improve with rest today, are you supposed to use it when you get this problem?

Lizzie, you are a very generous and thoughtful Grandma, no wonder your GD’s are close to you. they sound lovely young ladies.

I just had a nice phone call from DD3. Because Baby E wanted to talk to me He keeps picking up her phone throughout the day, talking into it and saying Grandma. She called and we changed to video call so he could see OH too.

Plant, I'm sure your DD feels as I do - lovely to have the GC but also nice to have 'time off'

What a lovely sunny morning we had. It was chilly early on,but its warmed up a bit.

Grass has been cut, hubby done some trimming of the box plants.
His pal called,so i made them a cuppa and left them gassing in the garden.
I've just had a lovely refreshing shower.

Gem, how lovely to get that phone call from Baby E.

Oma, glad your hand isn't as painful.

Absolutely pouring down. Making us pay for having a lovely day yesterday.

Hubby got a job he wants to do, but he'll be in the garage, so he'll stay dry.
I might do some washing, depends how much I've got.

Dinner is mince and onion pie, mash, peas and sweetcorn and gravy.

                Good morning everyone.

Nan2, same here. Lovely here yesterday then the rain started overnight.
At least we got some stuff done outside and were able to walk to and from the restaurant in the dry last night.

Aquafit this morning. We have an extra baby E day today, OH will look after him until I am back.

                Have a good week everyone.

Good Monday morning, everyone. After our brief whiff of Spring we are back to winter - cold, wet, dark, totally miserable in fact.

I'm just rushing round to go out. I need to do some shopping, get my passport photo done, and return GD1's favourite hairbrush which she left at our house.

                  See you later.

Lovely and sunny but it has been raining. Got up very late, I knocked a drink over in the night so was up mopping it up. It was diluted orange juice so I will have to clean the carpet area today. I can’t imagine what I was doing to knock it over.

How sweet baby E was trying to phone you Gemini.

On that subject - how many of you have a landline? I still have mine.

Busy start to the day for you Daisy, perhaps the sun will shine for you.

We have a landline Plant. A few of OH's golf friends use it, and we call out occasionally. We could certainly live without it I think.

Good aqua class and baby E and OH have been fine

                        Afternoon (just) ladies,
Hand much better today , can’t grip anything but I can type now 😁

                        Gem
Another day with baby is a bonus , I can just imagine him chatting with grandma on the phone ,
I wonder what he thought seeing you on FaceTime, Granny has shrunk and she’s stuck in the phone 🤣🤣

                        Plant
Not a great night when you have to get up to clean , I bet it soaked into the carpet .
We still have a land line but only for GS1 it’s the only number he remembers in an emergency or if his phone runs down he will borrow his friends and ring us if he needs to pass a message onto his Mam,
So we reluctant to get rid .
We never use it so apart from that could live without it .

                        Daisy
Dashing about again, hope your passport photo looks like you , ours are horrific.

                        Nanto
We have sun but it’s bitter cold and blowing a gale.

Been to MILs this morning it’s her 90th Birthday ,
Took her presents and a lovely big bouquet from M&S.

She needed milk so we popped to Sainsburys for that and cigarettes.
came back to be told the flowers were a waste of money by the time she took the paper off and all the greenery out 🙄
                        So ungrateful .

Took GS & Lucie out to our local Chinese on Saturday , then he called in 3 times yesterday for a cup of tea and a chat ,
He then rang at 10.30 to say he was back in Leeds safely.
Im sure he thinks we are going to run away and leave him 🤣❤️

We got rid of our landlines just over 2 years ago, when dad died. We never used it. Only kept it so mam and dad could get in touch.
We haven't missed it at all.

Rain wind and sun here Oma, and it's cold.
I hope your MIL enjoys her birthday despite her complaints about her flowers! 90 is quite a milestone.

You are right, an extra day with baby is a bonus. He is so funny he has us in stitches. He has me wrapped around his little finger though. He often won't eat much lunch but asks for yogurt. He keeps saying yogurt and smiling at me as he knows I give him one with every meal and he loves them. He has nice healthy plain natural yogurt with his fruit at home. Grandma's is the only place he gets flavoured yogurts and fromages frais

Hello everyone. I do hope you've not been blown away. What a cold windy day.
Hope no-one has had any damage to buildings , garden fencing etc.

We have both been to Specsavers this morning. OH got some new glasses, sun glasses and a pair of reading glasses all for £150 . Luckily I didn't need new glasses which is just as well as these ones I have cost over £350 last year and it's not as if I buy the expensive designer ranges.
We then brought a get well card for our neighbour who is in hospital at the moment.
I can tell me it was nice to get back home away from the cold wind .

Oma good to see that your hand has improved. How is B's cough

Plant we got rid of our land line last year.
Hope your carpet dries out soon.

Gem another day with the baby is lovely, they change so quickly, one minute they are babes in arms next minute they are toddling around getting into everything.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.
