Lovely lunch thanks I had lamb last week with the Omas, so had pork today. We drove to the nearest Park and Ride to us and caught that bus into town as it stops nearer to the pub than our usual stop. Totally different route in too, so that was interesting. Lovely sunny day, it was good to be out.

GS went to play golf with his Dad then decided to come to ours after for a few hours

Lots of sociable grannies today. It sounds as though everyone had a good time and a nice meal.

It warmed up quite a lot late morning/early afternoon, so I went out and cut the lawn, trimmed the edges and swept the patio. It was nice to be outside, and warm enough for just a t-shirt, no jumper. We got most of the chores done, but I've got a bit of ironing to do in the morning, and the baking. Our visitors probably won't arrive until mid-late afternoon, so should get everything done in time.

Dinner is homemade mash from the freezer. A few weeks ago i made some steak and onion pies, and i had some meat and onions left over, so i froze it, we are using it up today, not sure what veg we are having yet.

Aquafit class this morning, then I want to pop into M&S food hall, near where I park. No other plans for the day as far as I know. I think I will make a start on typing up the Minutes perhaps.

Good Monday morning, everyone. After yesterday's brief taste of Spring, we're back to rain this morning. Hey ho, at least I escaped into the garden for a couple of hours yesterday.

Nanto, if that cute puppy is looking for a home ... Enjoy your relaxed day.

OH is taking the seats for the kit car to the upholsterers this morning - they still can't take the car as they're short of space - someone keeps putting off collecting a finished car. It's frustrating to say the least! I'm just off to get a shower and then start cooking.

Our aqua instructor wasn't there and we had Emma who fills in occasionally and isn't very good. She has to keep referring to exercises on paper and her routines are boring! Some people walked out before the end which was rude. At least we had a class.
Our regular Monday instructor's husband was recently diagnosed with cancer and has been having chemotherapy, so I think he's taken time off for this reason. I'm sure he would rather be teaching us and his OH be well

Very overcast and chilly here, I think I shall have to put the heating on. Been to the monthly lunch in the village hall and it wasn’t very warm in the hall.

Afternoon all.
It's another cold wet day here

We've just received our new council tax bill
But on the plus side had a lovely than you card off BIL for his birthday present and party last weekend.

Oh Plant how exciting, a new baby due very soon .

Yesterday I was very busy tackling the washing as it was such a good drying day, unlike today!

By yesterday afternoon I had actually emptied the laundry basket, but not for long, by bedtime it was starting to fill back up again

I have sheet, king size duvet cover and pillow cases lying on the settee waiting to be folded, I wish I had four arms. they will not fold themselves unfortunately.
I am about to put my heating on, Sil is cutting the grass.
