enjoy your time away, new hair cut and colour is such a pick up isn’t it 😁

    Lizzy
Pleased you slept better and the girls enjoyed themselves.

Today we called into Iceland and I bought some Birds Eye Crispy Hash brown Fish burgers,
Though we would give them a try ,

We had them in Brioche buns for tea and were really surprised how nice they were ,
I think we will buy them again .

Its freezing rain here we had a spattering of snow but it was so wet it didn’t last.

Im not fat just 6ft too small

Hello, everyone. Finally catching up with you all. It's been a wet and dreary day here, and there is some flooding on the way out of the village across the Forest.

Oma, I'm so sorry there isn't much the doctors can do to ease B's pain. It must be awful living with constant aches and pains like he does. I presume he's tried things like TENs machines, or they aren't suitable. Don't laugh but has he tried yoga - the sort of things you can do sitting on a chair?

Gem, it's lucky that S is home today to help with baby E. He must weight quite heavy by now. Is he a wriggler or does he lie still while you change him?

Plant, GD doing her washing at your house gives you chance to play with little H. It's a win-win, isn't it.

Wee Granny, I hope you've arrived safely at your Suffolk coast special place. Whatever the weather I'm sure you will have a lovely time between lovely walks and good books and great food, you can't go wrong. Have fun. xx

Grauntie - does Bess have a coat for wet weather? It's something Eva needs as she isn't keen on the rain plopping on her back - running through puddles is totally different, apparently.

Lizzie, what is Bounce Valley? Glad GD and her friends enjoyed it, and I'm sure you enjoyed their company too. So glad you're feeling a bit better - raising the bed was a good idea.

Nanto, the corned beef and onion pies sound tasty, and great for a miserable wet day like today.

We've had a lovely day with our friends today. Preparing the food ahead of time was a big help, and I didn't have to spend too long in the kitchen - it was just a matter of checking things, turning roast potatoes over etc. I did a savoury upside down tart with a little salad as a starter and I'll definitely make it again. It was very easy, and quite tasty. I didn't know such things have gone viral on Tik Tok, but apparently they have!

We had lots of laughs, and the friends who had travelled a long way arrived with treats for Eva. She loves this couple anyway, as they always make a big fuss of her, and she slept under the table on A's feet - at least she kept him nice and warm!

We've done all the clearing up and we've got leftovers for tomorrow, and probably some for the next day as well.

Lizzie, good to hear there is improvement. I don't blame you waiting inside for the girls with that rain

WG, have a lovely time on your hols. I hope the weather is kind .

        Oma has B tried acupuncture?

That sounds a lovely day with your friends, Daisy, and I'm sure they enjoyed the food.

Well the snow eventually gave way to drizzly rain. It was a miserable day weatherwise.
Baby E was happy and a joy as usual.
Daisy, OH and I remark every week what an angel he is. He lies there nicely while his nappy is changed. I think his wriggling phase lasted all of 3 weeks at about 10 months old. He's definitely been the easiest of the 4 to change!

We had very heavy rain during the night so it got rid of the snow.

Daily, what a lovely time you had with friends.

Late afternoon yesterday DS1 and GD2 visited for an hour.

Two of our windows have been used as public conveniences by the birds.
A few days ago, someone on Facebook referred to birds as winged rats, she said they are dirty animals.
We love to see them in the garden.

No cooking today, we are having fish and chips for a change.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

            Good morning all.

Nan2 birds are beautiful. Not popular with most of us when they decorate house and car windows though! I have heard people refer to pigeons as winged rats.

Reflexology for me this morning. Downstairs this time as the room we usually use is in chaos due to the other bedroom being decorated.

            GS2 from school this afternoon.

            Happy Friday everyone.

              Morning everyone

My goodness this rain and wind is fierce, been like this since tea time yesterday.

              Daisy
sounds like you had a lovely visit , Eva knows who to stick too for treats 😁

B has a Tens machine but it does little to help
never thought of yoga but where the damage is even that wouldn’t help I don’t think.

I think a bounce park it Trampolines that Lizzies girls go to.

              Nanto
It always happens when you have just had windows cleaned doesn’t it , B hates bird muck on the car especially if it’s the seagulls 😱

              Gem
Enjoy reflexology, how’s the decorating coming on.

Dog day for us making him a Turkey Sunday dinner,
Ive got a little ironing to do but first I want to clean kitchen cupboard doors .
Will pop back later see how everyone is doing ,

A pause in decorating yesterday Oma as it's baby's nap room 😊

OH will be working on it today. DD3 asked if she and baby could stay over a couple of night later this month when SIL goes to India with work, so that's an incentive to get it finished!

Dark and miserable here, no need to go out. I am going to put a delivery order together from Waitrose. I think we are expecting GD and H this morning. I took a meal out of the freezer to eat last evening. I thought it was Cottage Pie but it turned out to be Fish Pie, my favourite.

Gemini, Lovely picture of GD on FB, she is stunning. I hope the Reflexology goes well today and helps with your mobility and pain.

Daisy, sounds like a lovely day with your friends, they went home well fed.

Lizzie, I hope your throat is less painful, I hope you have managed to clear it.

Oma, Turkey Roast for Storm! Whatever next. Hope your weather improves soon.

                    Oh thank you Plant
I am careful of how many photos of GD I post on FB now she is older, but her mum posted that photo first so I knew it was fine.

Good Friday morning, everyone. We've had rain, rain and even more rain. OH has just been into the village and he says an area known as Waters Green is well named!

Nanto, Friday fish and chips sounds perfect, and you deserve a day off from cooking.

Gem, what a good boy E is. It's so much easier if they will relax while you change them. Did you enjoy your reflexology? Just a thought - is it something that could help B's pain management?

Oma, I think yoga is good for calming the mind and general relaxation, and that in turn might help to lessen pain.

Sorry, I got distracted by a phone call before I finished my post.

Oma, I think yoga would be as much of an overall benefit in terms of mind-body help and may also help with sleep. Any benefit is a gain. I hope Storm's enjoying his Turkey Sunday dinner - what a spoiled boy he is!

Plant, isn't the weather awful! No wonder you don't feel like going out. Have GD and H arrived? Enjoy your fish pie.

Lizzie, how are you today? Is your throat feeling better? I hope it's finally stopped raining.

I'm having a day off today - no housework, no cooking (plenty of leftovers) and I'm going to do some painting this afternoon, and catch up on Call the Midwife tonight while OH is out.

Bounce valley is a huge hall filled with spring cushions etc etc. Not trampolines Oma, there is one close to where we were, these are spring cushions, all shapes and sizes. Enough to keep 3 very active teenagers happy for 2 hours.

My throat is much better thanks, luckily.

I have been doing a plant trough at the place I do coffee at, we had the plants a few weeks and now they are planted.

Oma, don't they have pain clinics in the UK where people go for help and treatment?
