Good morning everyone, sunny and there has been a frost, I decided to go for eggs early as I have an appointment at 11am, oh dear, it was very cold, first my hands were frozen, they warmed up then my toes were cold! It is a good ride through fields etc, taken a full hour, I am now getting warm before heading out again.

Daisy, I always did the girls oyster cards so still have the accounts.

Gem, take it easy with all your aches and pains.

Grauntie, you must have the same weather as here this morning.

I will go for my treatment, as least it is only 10 minutes on the bike!

Yes B liked my hair , it’s not swept back off My face now I never keep it the way my hairdresser does it

I did get a compliment in Tesco yesterday a lady passing said ooo I like your hair colours where did you get it done 😁

The girls are lucky you are tech savvy , I wouldn’t have a clue where to start 😁

Its grey damp and cold here
I’ve done all the bedding and now tea towels are on a hot wash ,
Ive had a good clean through pulled sofa and chairs out to get under and did skirtings , B did tops of the doors save me getting on the step ladders.
Hes now sorting the ring door bell out on the phone app .

We watched the new Wonker film last night ,
It was good .
Nothing like the original but that made it better as I’m not sure they could do another like the first or the Johnny Depp one .

My little nephew Archie knows it word for word already and has a coat and top hat just like the character 😀

GD, her OH and H are still here, they are going back home Tues I think. We did a big shop today to fill the cupboards and fridge. We are not cooking every day, had some meals out but GD is making curry tonight. H has been a star, she is so good. I am finding it a bit tiring having more activity in my day but I am having a quiet time atm.

Oma I would like to see the new Wonker film, did you see it at the cinema or on television.

Grauntie, a walk on the beach sounds good. I love living in Bucks but we are so far from the sea.

Good morning. Lovely red sky here this morning.

Plant, its not a secret what hubby wanted. It was some large plastic boxes for in the garage. Apparently, the thousand boxes we have, weren't strong enough.

Daisy, glad the greenhouse dismantling went well.

Just after we got home from town yesterday, nephew and his wife paid us a visit.

I've got braising steak, mushrooms and onions in the slow cooker. We'll have mash and cabbage with it.

Cuppa time then I want to do the ironing.

We had a nice meal with our friends ( chicken casserole, apple crumble with custard) not to forget all the Christmas chocolates being passed round! I was only in pain when I laughed so had to keep asking them not to say funny things
I had wanted to get out into the country for a bit of a walk today. Since I fell and pulled all these muscles I don't think I can just yet. OH was invited to play golf so I said she may as well.
I have papers to print off for tomorrow's committee meeting, but no other plans.

Im not a lover of beef but I like Braising steak with onions and potatoes done in the slow cooke , it’s a different taste and texture isn’t it .

Not sure what we are doing today, I did think we might go to a local pub for lunch if we can get a table. GD made a lovely mild veg curry yesterday, H loved it. H is managing without an afternoon sleep but is so tired at bath time.

GS just left he’s been home for two days going back tonight with Connor ,
Cant go long without seeing us 😀

B wanted roasted belly pork and chips but I really didn’t fancy that .
so he’s having that
Im not a big Egg fan but now and then a couple of boiled eggs is what I fancy 😀

I haven't done much today.
When OH left for the golf course I had a shower, got dressed and did a bit of dusting and made my lunch. Apart from that I have mostly watched TV. I watched Toy Story 4 which I recorded over Christmas, a few episodes of Frasier and listened to The Archers ominbus on Alexa.
I couldn't do the printing as I had forgotten that everything from the room with the leaking pipe is crammed into the smaller bedroom, where the printer is. No way could I get to it I had to email the group and ask anyone who could to print a couple of copies of the minutes and agenda.
A bit of a boring day but relaxing.

OH's turn to cook so I have no idea what we are having. I hope she does!

Hello everyone. This is the first chance I've had to get online today.

We have had a lovely day. DS1 and DIL came for lunch - I did roast chicken with lots of roast and steamed veggies, and made flapjack and sultana scones. It was very relaxed and we had a good laugh.

DS1 seemed very well in himself, but is still struggling to walk because of the weakness on his right side. But he's doing the exercises and the physio is pleased with his progress.

We ate far too much at lunch-time, and have just had soup for supper. I think I need an early night!

Good morning, Daisy, I am so pleased to see that your DS is improving.

I decided to move two chairs etc yesterday, the leather chairs belonged to DS1, believe me they are heavy! I switch them round every now and again so that they both get used, DS1 happened to phone whilst I was busy, I told him that I am sure the chairs get heavier each time I do them!! The girls would help when they were here, yesterday I was on my own! I did manage to do it though.

I then went on the bike to their village to see GD1 at work in the Lidl, she does enjoy working there, made lots of friends as well. I then called at DS1 for a coffee, he will be in the UK now until Friday.

Aqua this afternoon so I hope we can go on the bikes today.
