      Good morning everyone.r

Rain is back here too Nan2. Forecast quite heavy later I believe.

Lizzie, my mum would move heavy chairs without help for many years after I thought she should. My OH would be the same. I would ask for help!

That sounds a nice day Daisy. I can really understand your DS feeling frustrated. He is doing so well though.

Library Friends committee meeting for me this morning. This afternoon OH will take her car to the garage for it's MOT. I need to follow her in my car to drive her home, then take her back to collect it later. We were going into town this afternoon but the rain is horrible so we have moved this to Wednesday.

Dull but not raining here yet, not sure what is forecasted. I think we are off to a soft play place later. DD and Sil expected back tomorrow afternoon. My days will be a bit more restful when GD and family go tomorrow but I will miss them. We went to Marlow on /Thames yesterday for lunch and it was so crowded, being on the river with some very nice eateries and a lovely playground, it is very popular.

Daisy, how nice for you to have a visit from your DS and Dil

Gemini, busy day for you, I hope you are less sore today.

Oma, I hope the visit to the diabetic nurse goes well

Will pop back later as I must get showered and dressed to go playing.

What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

          Good Monday morning, everyone.

It's not raining here but it's very misty and it's as wet as if it had rained properly.

Lizzie, it's surprising how the weight of immoveable object increases as we get older! I find it very frustrating when I can't move big pieces of furniture like I used to. I'm learning I sometimes have to ask for help but I'd rather do it on my own if I can! How lovely that your GD1 is enjoying her job in Lidls and making lots of new friends.

Oma, I hope all goes well with your diabetic appointment. Is it at a local hospital?

Gem, did you get your printing done ok for your meeting? It sounds as though the new library is a busy and welcoming place to be. You must all be so pleased your efforts were successful. Yes, hopefully Wednesday will be a better day for your trip into town.

Nanto, enjoy your day. Although you will probably end up with visitors or your OH having a job to do. We had chicken yesterday. Today will probably be fish of some sort.

No plans for me today. I keep saying I'll start to sort out my wardrobe - there are things in there I haven't worn in years so I think it's time they went. It's a job I hate doing though.

Plant, our posts crossed. I'm sure it's lovely to be able to spend this time with GD1 and H, but I can imagine you must get very tired. I hope you have a good day with them today. I think you will have to have a lazy few days after they have gone. Take care. xx

Seen the Diabetic nurse my reading have come down so much I don’t have to see her again just my practice nurse ,
No more bloods till May 😀

We then went to Lidl , well that was an experience ,

There was an old couple must have been in their 80s , she had a walking frame thing on wheels he had a walking stick .
Well they started arguing and ended up screaming at each other ,

It got so heated he started hitting her with his stick,

A young couple near him the young lad got in between and took his stick away .

No idea what the argument was about as we just walked around the top of the isle when it kicked off.

You wouldn’t be surprised if it was a young couple but their age it was shocking 😳

Oh dear, the drama. Wonder if they have kissed and made up.
Its good your diabetic reading has come down.

Its dark and dismal here. Cleaned the kitchen top to bottom, but had to have the light on all morning.
Not had any visitors today, been quiet.

Nanto it’s very dark here , we have the lamps on and the rain is lashing the windows ,
Typical the window cleaner was here on Saturday 🙄

Probably no one wants to venture out in this weather 😁

Oma, could one of the couple have alzeimers? I have seen this before that they suddenly attack.

Dark with lamps and fairy lights on here too.

                      Oh dear Oma.
As Lizzie says it could have been dementia, or just one of those Last Straw arguments from people who spend all day every day together!
                      Great about the diabetic readings

Plant I'm sure you have loved this time with GD and little H, but a rest will be good now!

Daisy, sorting wardrobes is on my To Do but never get done list!

Meeting went fine, also dropping off OH's car. We are just waiting to hear back from the garage that we can go back for it. We went to Tesco on the way back from the garage. I was aching when I got back. I am recovering from my fall, but not fully recovered yet!

That’s exactly what B said , or this man was just an angry violent man in the past and still gets angry .
He wasn’t strong enough to really whack her but it still must have hurt . She seemed ok but we didn’t see what happened ,
Some members of staff took them off to the office .

It must have been very shocking Oma.

We are back now, not going out again today!

Oma, what a drama! I didn't realise when they talk about the middle aisle in Lidl that it could get that violent. I hope the poor lady was ok, and agree he is either a grumpy old man or sadly suffering from dementia. Great news that your reading have come down so much. Do you feel better for it?

Gem, are the bruises coming out now? Will you be ok for aqua class this week? I presume OH's car was ok.

Nanto, well done. At least you have something to show for the dark, dismal day.

Plant, how did playtime go today? Did you say DD and SIL will be back tomorrow?

We have escaped the heavy rain lots of you seem to have had today, but the mist never really lifted and the air was so damp it felt like rain. I didn't get much done this morning - just pottered round - and needless to say, I didn't sort out my wardrobe. Every time I thought I'd get on an do something useful I came to my senses and relaxed instead. I took Eva for a good walk this afternoon though, came home, made bread and cooked dinner.

                              Good morning.
Don't know what the weather is doing, too dark to see.

Hubby out for a couple of hours, but after he gets home we are going to deliver a birthday present.
It's not her birthday till Thursday, but her father in law is in hospital, so they have to share their time between hospital visits and looking after her mother in law who has alzeimers.

It will probably be pizza for dinner.

                                Morning Nanto-Everyone

                                Nanto
Its so wet and cold here and Dark .

We off to Dalton park this morning, B needs his Lindt fix 🙄

                                Daisy
I do feel much better on the insulin.
Headache’s are few and far between now , usually when I’m extra tired.
Bet your house smells lovely with the fresh bread , 🍞

                                Gem
How are you today has the bruising came out ?
Did S’s car pass its MOT ?

                                Plant
Will GD and H go home today or tomorrow? It will be strange not having them next door again.
How are you doing now ?

Yesterday for tea we had what we call Cabbage stuff , it’s a German dish with mashed Cabbage and potatoes , smoked sausage and belly pork plus other stuff,

Anyway we didn’t have any of the German sausage in the freezer that we use to give the Smokey taste ,
We bought a Polish smoked sausage from Lidl to try that ,
It didn’t work it wasn’t Smokey enough and the texture was all wrong .

So B went on the German Deli site last night and ordered 4 packs of the right sausage along with a load of other German stuff
Spent £50 but what he got is all freezable so will last a long time ,
They are delivering by Courier on Thursday ,
I think Thursdays tea may be a Sauerkraut and smoked sausage dish 😁
