It was a Bazil mozzarella and B put pepperoni on, the Brazil was lovely and fresh .
Hope the staples come out easy and DS feel better for it xx

It will be a shame if the young man doesn’t stay ,
maybe you should all get together and contact whoever is employing him to voice your opinions that he should stay.
Be careful on those icy roads x

    Gem
It will be cold on the golf course for S,
Hope it’s a easy morning at the library x

Oma, understandable that Glamms GD isn't sleeping well, is there just the one child?

It is council pool we go to, in Den Haag, we have let the manageress know, a few times, that he should stay. We hope he does.

          Afternoon all
Didn't sleep well, just couldn't get warm . It's sunny , dry but very cold here At least we haven't had any snow.

Oma those words in the card are very touching, thanks again for sending it to Glamm's DD

DS is staying overnight here today. He will be here after lunch

Today I noticed that the window cleaners were cleaning windows on some of the bungalows so I asked could they do our windows.
We now have nice clean windows and at £5 every 4 weeks I think it's a bargain.

I can't believe some people, we put up a new doorbell and what do they do? ..... Bang on the door with their hands !

I feel for Glamms DD . There is so much to organise, sort out and all the memories tugging at your heart .

          Keep warm and safe everyone
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Oma I tried to move your post from the First Word game where I think you posted by accident but I couldnt.

This was Oma's post "Posted on Glamm"

Preparing a funeral plus dealing with property and effects are both hard and heartbreaking. I feel for the family.

Its definitely worth paying that to have your windows cleaned Mimi.

I'm glad you are not on the bike Lizzie!

              Definitely soup weather Daisy

Exciting library morning! When I arrived the BBC were in the cafe area. You can't access any of the library without going through the cafe, so we just tried to keep behind the camera! They were interviewing children who had won art competition and showing art work displayed in the library. Every so often one of them would say to a child Try not to look at the cameras! A hard ask I imagine.
The other excitements were the snow falling (it's stopped now and hasn't settled) and my next door neighbour with her baby coming to change the baby's books and for a chat with me. She's a complete beauty and sweetheart of a baby so I was showing her off to the library staff

Thanks Gem not sure how it ended up on there 😁

Ooo exciting will we see you on telly
Tell a child not to look and it’s the first thing they would do, It’s like expecting jelly not to wobble 🤣
How old is the baby now ?
My post on Glamm is about her funeral xx

Baby is 5 months old. Starting solids and just all round smily and adorable!

I'm in the car waiting for GS. I'll be glad of a hot cuppa when we get in!

We get people knocking on the door and we have light up doorbell as well.

Gem, sounds like it was exciting at the library.

When hubby was in town this morning he said there was a few tiny snowflakes.
Bro in law hoping we don't get any snow, because he is looking forward to going car shopping on Thursday.

Lizzie, glad you didn't go out on your bike, with those weather conditions.

Mimi, i thought £5 was a fair price for the windows being cleaned.

                    Daisy,hope DS is ok today.

Daisy I hope all went well for your son today.

I would quite like one of those doorbells.

OH came in jubilant as she and her 2 co players won

GS2 is better and could go back to school this afternoon.

GS1 went to his youth club despite his mum fearing he wouldn't. I left him happy.
Unfortunately some nasty boy pushed him down some stairs on purpose. GS wasn't hurt but he was upset, especially as some older kids laughed

Oma, the pizza sounds delicious. I love basil with tomatoes. Glamm's DD will have such a lot to do, I'm sure. And I think she only ent back to work after breaking her ankle a day or so before her Mum became so ill. No wonder she's not sleeping. I wonder what has happened to Oliver the cat?

Mimi, it's horrible when you're cold at night. Do you have bedsocks? Not very glamorous, but keeping your feet warm makes such a difference. I think £5 for having clean windows is a real bargain. I laughed at your doorbell comment. We got one of those Ring camera/doorbells about a year ago. We had to put it on the left of the door and we often see people looking on the right hand side, looking puzzled!

Gem, an exciting time at the library. Your neighbour's baby sounds utterly gorgeous. Did S keep warm enough on the golf course?

Oma, did you get a lot of snow?

DS went up to London today and had the staples removed. DIL took a photo of the top of his head - it's a huge scar, but is healing up well. I seem to have spent a lot of the day online, but I did make soup for lunch, made bread and took Eva out for a walk in the cold. It was nearly dark but it was surprising how many other dogs were out on walkies.

Gem, our posts crossed. Poor GS1 - children can be so unkind. I hope Karma catches up with them. Was GS2 pleased to be back at school?

Well done to S. I bet she was delighted. It makes up a bit for all the days the course has been closed recently.

Plenty of little jobs for me to do today.

Dinner will be fish fingers, potato croquettes and mushy peas.
