Morning Ladies
No plans for us either , think DD coming with Storm so I will hold off washing floors till they go ..
Sad news with Glamm but better news with Daisy's son I hope , he looked so good considering what a big op he had , im so pleased for them 😁 wonder if the Daisy's are coming back home today or staying to help a little longer .
Not a lot happening here, very dull weather wise. Just had a Face Time with GD. H is coming for the day tomorrow. GD and her OH are going up to London to the Science Museum.
Wondering how things are in the Daisy family.

Bit late for a good morning, and to be honest, so sad thinking about Glamm.
DS is doing well. Obviously he won't get over an operation like that overnight, but yesterday he was able to shower and wash his hair, revealing 26 staples.
Walking is still very wobbly, but he starts physio on Wednesday. It's GS2's birthday tomorrow, but we have to get home for OH to go to a doctor's appointment on Monday am. So we're having a small family get together for him this afternoon.

Good morning.
Busy morning for me..
Going to get a joint of beef in the slow cooker, for a roast beef dinner.
Need to make some pastry for steak and onion pies, haven't got any in the freezer.
Now I've got more freezer space I want to get some mashed potatoes done and get them frozen.
Also need to wash a couple of our coats.
Best get cracking then.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Morning Ladies
A sad day ,
not a lot to do today just floor washing and towels in ,
I think we all will be thinking of Charlotte's family today . Her Daughter called her the Queen Bee the heart of the family bless them.💔
Good moaning.
A sad day indeed. I love the Queen Bee title, I’m sure it is a fitting tribute to Glamm.
Not much going on here, still on red alert as DD1 and SiL have gone to Amsterdam for the weekend and left the bratlings to fend for themselves for the first time. They have the other Grandparents next door and us 5 minutes away. Both are capable of cooking a decent meal so they won’t starve.
I may muck out the study, I may not. I’ll have to see which way the wind blows. I may sit and read my book but that’s a bit of a waste of a day. Coffee might help my decision.
Have a fruitful day ladies, whatever you do.

Such a sad morning for our community, and so much more so for Glamma's family.
I hope the GC survive and behave well home alone Grauntie
Oh and I were ill yesterday so I didn't post much.
We went to M&S in the morning then had some soup in the cafe there. It turned out later neither of us felt that good but neither us us mentioned it. Nothing to do with the lunch as it started before that. We didn't feel well all afternoon and were both sick several times from early evening. I went to bed at 5 and stayed there until 8 this morning .I suspect we caught yet another bug from baby GS3 as he wasn't himself on Thursday and we both had some very yukky nappies to change. 1 for OH 3 for Grandma!
Never mind we can take it easy today.

Had a busy day yesterday so will probably have a slow one today. We have H for the day, her parents are going to London to an exhibition. Didn’t sleep well so no doubt I will have a nap. I have all the paperwork for the Colonoscopy, I have the date now, not looking forward to that. Both DS and DD are away then so GD and family are moving in to look after me and get me to the hospital.
Grauntie, It doesn’t sound as if the GC will starve or get up to mischief with both sets of parents keeping an eye.
Oma, thank you for keeping us informed about our dear friend Glam.

We have just been to Asda ,
Pulled up in the bays and someone has dumped all the Xmas toy boxes and paper up against the railings ,
Obviously out of the boot ,
They have these long advertising banners tied to the railings so unless the CCTV has caught them they wouldn’t see them taking it all out of the boot,
I informed the security guard as we went in his response was that part of the car park isn’t ours so someone else will have to deal with it 🙄
Pass the buck attitude 🤬

It will be good they are there to look after you and take you to the Hospital , it’s not something you want to be driving after especially if you have a sedative then you can’t anyway.
Grantie
Im sure the bratlings will survive 😁 I bet they can look after themselves just fine they just don’t need to when Mum & Dadare around .
Its Sunday sitting around reading your book all day is allowed .
Oh Gem it’s one thing after another , hope your feeling better today,
Read your Email thank you ,
There are members not on FB but who would appreciate the email xx
I have been meaning to come and wish everyone a happy new year but the sad news this morning, (thank you Gem, for the message) has pushed me 8th do it it. Such sad news, I feel shocked.
But I wish you all a very Happy and Healthy New Year and hope that 2024 will be a good one for us all.
We had a lovely Christmas with the family, so. Ice to all be together for a few days. Everyone has been keeping well, I had one of my hospital appointments last week and all is ok. Just one more to go.
I will try and catch up with everyone, I’m still enjoying my word games with the other two grans, thanks ladies for the fun and chat. Xx
Thanks for the email update about Glamm It's such sad news
Thoughts are with her family and friends.
It's very cold here to day but the sun is attempting to shine evey now and again.
DS installed our ring doorbell yesterday, little did we realise that it takes roughly 8 hours to change the battery! But on the plus side the battery then needs recharging on average 8 to 10 months
We don't plan to do much today
Lasagne for lunch today. I can't remember when I last cooked a Sunday roast
