DS1 just been, he's not staying for dinner.
GD2 messaged earlier to say she's not coming.
So, we aren't bothering with fish and chips, we are having jacket potatoes with tuna mayo and cheese. I'll do about 6 in the microwave and when the have gone cold I'll freeze some. When we need them they will be ready to go in the air fryer.

I keep remembering my mum, in her 90's going to the care home on an end of life pathway. She was expected to have 2 weeks left She lived 3 more years and met another GGC. You never know.

I picked GS2 up and we came home via the library. He loves the library and I wanted to drop off the pencil sharpener I had brought home in my pocket on Tuesday.

Plant a new sunroom is something to look forward to.

Gave the upstairs a good going through this afternoon ,
Got down to clean around the sink pedestal and loo and couldn’t get up again shuffled to the top of the stairs so I could get up hanging onto the hand rail 🙄😁

MIL rang , she had phoned her sister and she again asked how FIL was and when his Mam asked who was with her she said no one , she’s alone and doesn’t have any family , obviously not the case .
She really is deteriorating quickly

She told MIL she was going to their mothers to do some shopping , she thinks they are still young and his Grandmother is still alive .

Oma, I forgot to mention coming downstairs with baby. I instinctively felt I couldn't walk downstairs with him but managed with him on my lap. It wasn't too comfortable on my operated knee, but I did it.

We are going into town today. Meeting DS2 at the cafe where his wife works.
