    Good morning everyone.

It's stopped raining here too Nan2.

I hope you and Eva don't get too wet Daisy.

No golf today Oma, Wednesday isn't usually on of OH's golf days. I'm sure you will be seeing a lot of GS over the next few days

I hope Glamma is on the mend .

OH and are going to Sainsbury's ( I will go back to the car if it gets too much) then dropping GS2's books back to the library.
GS1 has invited me to see the new Trolls movie after school. I will be getting a season pass to Vue at rate!

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Daft dog! Can’t see our Bess allowing that, sadly.

Sorry I haven’t been on today yet, I had a sort of headache this morning, it seems to have cleared now.

Oma, he is a silly dog but it is all fuss which they love. Would Eva let you do that Daisy.

Gemini, how lovely to be invited out by your GS, enjoy ther film.

We have had a sunny day today, I hope I get days like this in Normandy. DD and Sil have had all three GC overnight and GD has only just arrived to pick up H as her daddy is with his very poorly GM. Their 2 older GC 7 and 5 are with them until tomorrow then they go to their other GM, I presume their parents will be back by the weekend. My DD has just cooked them a lovely meal and the fuss they have made “don’t like this don’t like that” I am afraid it would have gone in the bin if it had been my GC. My DD is too soft with them. H tucked into hers. I am sure my GS is soft with them but their mother is a teacher. At least they will get a rest in Normandy next week.

            Aww bless him Oma

Plant when do you go to Normandy?

GS enjoyed the film. Grandma enjoyed his company, the comfy seat and sweets DD provided us with DD dropped him here before the film and I drove him home again afterwards.

Gem, what a lovely afternoon you both had and the sweeties were a bonus. . Did you both enjoy the Trolls movie? Is this a new one, or a re-run of the original? My GD2 loved that. How did you get on going round the supermarket?

Plant, Your DD and SIL have been very busy with all 3 of their grandchildren.

Oma, Storm is such a softy! Grauntie, you can't blame bess - she wants to look her best, I'm sure. Eva would look puzzled and them move each item or wriggle from underneath them! It doesn't seem 5 minutes since your GS started uni, so he's doing well to get 12 days off already. I'm sure you will see lots of him, though. It's good to hear he's settled down so well. Is his GF home as well?

The rain had stopped by the time I took Eva out for a walk this morning. We only went round the block, which is just as well as our normal Forest walks were flooded. One lady's Labrador got swept away and had to be rescued by a gallant gentleman who got soaked in the process. I'm not sure why you would take a Lab anywhere near a flooded river! Most of the roads out of the village were flooded, but luckily the way I go to dog training was uphill and ok! Apparently it was worse on the Isle of Wight - over 3" of rain in one area in less than 24 hours.

Training was good and Eva had fun, but has slept all evening.

it's something called Reading week , Lucies is the week after so she is going to spend the week in Leeds with him,
Sounds like that Lab had a lucky escape , Brave man rescuing it.

                Gem
The new Troll movie looks good by the promo clips I've seen , GD loved the first movie .
I think Plant goes the day after her Birthday so I think Monday

Your DD must have been worn out all the children there at once 😁

                  Good morning.

Oma, Storm looked like he couldn't care less.
It will be lovely for you to see GS.
                  Glad he is settled.

Daisy, glad the labrador was rescued.

Our weather was lovely yesterday, sunny all day. Don't know what the forecast is for today.

Just seen it on the news about the shooting in America. At least 16 feared dead. Gunman still on the loose.

Kitchen cleaning for me this morning.
It's an easy dinner for me today, I took a cottage pie out of the freezer last night.
Half an hour in the air fryer and it will be done.

Shopping being delivered between 9 and 10.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.

The Troll movie is a new one. It was Ok, can't say it was in my top 10 GS loved it though!

My friend M is coming for coffee this morning. DD3 and baby are coming too
I'm not sure when. M hasn't seen DD3 for some time and hasn't met the baby, so it will be quite nice if they overlap.
Not too bad a night at all painwise, so something to be thankful for!

Good morning, foggy again, I have just been to the housing with questions about the renovation, we had a choice of 2 days this week so I have been, I got my questions answered! IF it goes ahead we are prepared, but, many are voting no after the stupid letters!

Gem, a busy day for you with the visitors. Nanto, I read about the shootings in the USA.

DD3 decided to come over after baby's morning nap, so she won't see M.

3 GC next door again, H adores her cousin, he shows her his little people from his Lego and plays with her. I need to go to the parade to get some bits to take to Normandy,we go on Monday.

Oma, I hope you find Mil in a relatively happy mood. You will be seeing a lot of your GS I expect.

Daisy, that was a nasty experience for that Lab, so pleased someone was able to rescue it.

Gemini, how lovely to be invited to the cinema by GS1. I think you have a very close relationship with him.

Nanto, haven’t seen the news, why don’t they just shoot themselves. The news every night is full of terrible sights

                              Raining today.

Shopping delivered dead on 9. I got all that i ordered and no substitutes.

Plant, another busy day for next door.

Lizzie, can't those that want the renovations have them done, regardless of those that don't want them.

Good Thursday morning, everyone. We have sunshine - so far.

Plant your DD and SIL are great hands-on grandparents to all three of their grandchildren. It's lovely for H to see so much of her cousins.

Oma, I never quite worked out 'reading weeks' at uni. It seems the students have to read about/around a topic they haven't yet covered before they get the lectures on that topic. I always thought it would be better to get the lectures as a basis and then the students consolidate with further reading. Still, it gives your GS a week at home, which he will love and another week with Lucie as well. I hope MIL was in a good mood and you got all her shopping right.

Gem, what a lovely busy morning for you and S. I'm glad GS1 loved the Trolls movie. I wonder if my GD2 (nearly 10) is too old for it now. What do you think?

Lizzie, I hope your renovations go ahead. People can so easily bury their heads in the sand, can't they. What are the objections to the work?

Nanto, are you enjoying another sunny day? They're so precious at this time of the year. I love cottage pie! You're making good use of your air fryer.

Awful news about yet another shooting in America. I haven't read the news, but I can imagine the awful scenes and the heartbreak for families affected.

We've got both GDs coming later today for a sleepover. We're so looking forward to seeing them. We'll pick them up at tea-time after their karate classes. Weather permitting tomorrow we're going to a pumpkin patch to choose their Halloween pumpkins. There is also a maize maze there, so they might enjoy that as well. We'll have lunch out and then come back here to do the pumpkins. We haven't done this for a couple of years, so it will be fun. If it's pouring with rain and the place is closed (it gets very muddy!) we'll get pumpkins from the garden centre.

They will have a little unexpected treat - our neighbour forgot to cancel their milk order so the GDs have two pints of delicious chocolate milk waiting for them.
