Poor Glamm. It sounds a very nasty bug. I hope she's soon feeling better. It sounds as though her DD is suffering too.

Oma, what a nuisance the dentist can't fix your tooth straight away. Oma, what an interesting collection of things you had in that cupboard! It will be much more boring now - for a while.

Gem, did you have a lovely day with Baby E? He sounds such a poppet.

Lizzie, I hope the girls and their parents are home safely. GD1 has done well for birthday celebrations, which is just as it should be. I hope your toes are ok after aquafit.

Nanto, were you able to get your washing dried outside? I got a line full of towels and tea towels dry today despite a forecast of rain.

Plant, I forgot to ask - have you now rehomed all your Membrillo paste?

We did have a lovely day with the baby thank you Daisy. He is a joy
I could manage on my own with him now were it not for nap times. I'm certainly not ready to either take him up and down stairs or lift him in and out of his cot.

Off to bed now, good night everyone!

        Raining this morning.

I don't know where yesterday went, but it went.

Didn't get the washing out Daisy, it was foggy and felt damp until late afternoon. Another load of washing going in when I have finished my cup of tea.

        Lizzie, lovely photo.

Hope Glamma is feeling better soon.

Dinner is mash, vegetables and chicken, leek and mushroom pie with gravy.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.

Last night was the worst since the very early post op days. Then, for some inexplicable reason the alarm went off at 6am, when I was asleep

Reflexology this morning, then I have booked myself a seat at Vue again this afternoon. I hope I don't fall asleep during the film!

Nanto, it's back t routine for you, then. Still, I think an October/November holiday in the sun helps to set you up for the winter ahead.

Gem, did you overdo things yesterday with baby? That could be why you had so much pain last night. It's horrible when alarms go off randomly like that. It wakes you up far too quickly. I hope the reflexology and a couple of hours in a comfy cinema seat help today. Take it easy. xx

Oma, enjoy your shopping trip. I picture b coming home with a huge bag of Lindt chocolate. Is there a particular variety he likes? I hope your sister and Co are ok. there seem to be some horrible bugs around.

Glamm sounds very poorly. I do hope she's soon feeling better. Thanks for keeping in touch with her Oma.

Nothing special planned for us today, but I've got plenty of jobs to be getting on with. The sun's shining, so I think I'll wash Eva's bedding and towels.

I am sorry to hear Glamm is unwell, I hope she feels better soon.

Nanto, you holiday seems to gone very quickly, I hope you found some sun shine to store up.

Oma, I share B’s love of Lindt chocolate. Enjoy your shopping trip.

Gem, I hope you are feeling in less pain today, perhaps having the little one was a bit much for you. I hope you were able to sit comfortably in the cinema.

Daisy, I am sure you will find plenty to do to keep you busy.

I had to leave my cleaner here this morning as I had a NT coffee morning to attend.

Hallo everyone, I had busy morning and tired again, I tell myself it is a virus, I hope it is. I had my bloods taken yesterday and will get the results later this week.

DS2 has an American classic truck, he flew to Texas years ago to pick it up! He is having the body work renovated, there were parts??? in my garage, he came this morning with a friend to pick the roof up, took it to the garage to have the windows removed then brought it back again, in the meantime I did some sorting out, I haven't skied for 20 years but found my ski shoes!!! Amongst other things. They came back saying there were police setting up tents etc as you come into the village, I did see yesterday they had found a cycle on the path and it looked as though someone had fallen, there is water there but the police couldn't find anything, this morning there was a body, on the other side of the road in the water, if the body had been drawn through the drain or not I do not know. Sad.

As for the alarm clock Gem, I have a weather station clock and the batteries were run down so I replaced them a fortnight ago, on saturday evening I woke at 12pm and wondered what on earth the noise was, it was the alarm!!! It had been setting off at midnight every night for a fortnight and I hadn't heard it, I was worried the neighbours under me had heard it, I went to apologise but they hadn't heard a thing, they don't go to bed before 2am so would be watching TV. I have now made sure the alarm is switched off.

B loves any kind of Lindt we get a big bag of pick and mix he also always gets a chocolate teddy and a reindeer the large ones of course ,
This morning we got by email a £5 voucher and one for a free £15 advent calendar so that was a bonus .
Hes now a happy bunny for a few weeks at least 😁

Im sure your cleaner didn’t mind you leaving her she will have wizzed around , I bet there isn’t much to do it will be immaculate anyway ,

                      Lizzie
As long as no one was disturbed by the alarm ,
Its amazing what you find when youhave a clean out ,
Take care of yourself you may be lacking in iron if your feeling tired all the time , hope the bloods can shed some light on the problem x

Its finally stopped raining but it’s dark and dreary still and cold .

I didn't think I had overdone things with the baby yesterday, but I suppose it could be that.

Well I didn't fall asleep in the cinema but it was a close call I saw A haunting in Venice , a Poirot film.

GS2 is coming to see us soon and stay for his tea DD2 is going as help/support to DD1 for GS1's laser quest party and will pick GS2 up afterwards. I know he misses me picking him up from school every Friday as he has told me!

Gem, soetimes we feel we need to be in at least two places at once to spend time with all our grand children. I'm sure you miss seeing him on Fridays as well.

Glad you stayed awake through the film, and hope you have a better night tonight.

Lizzie, you are a very busy lady, so no wonder you feel tired at times. I do hope the blood results come back clear, but as Oma says, perhaps your iron levels are a bit low. Being woken up at 12 o'clock wouldn't help either. xx

Plant, how lovely that you can go out and leave your lovely cleaning lady to carry on. You're right - I did find plenty to keep me busy - all of it boring, though.

I hope Glamm has had a better day today. xxx

                            I think its stopped raining.

Oma, I had the shingles jab when I was 70. Hubby is 75 and he was never offered it. They are giving it to younger ones now. Bro in law is 65 and he had his last week.

Hope those feeling under the weather feel better soon.

No plans for today apart from housework including some more ironing.

Only doing chips, beans and egg for dinner. It won't bother Hubby, it's one of his favourite dinners.

                              Good Wednesday morning, everyone.

Nanto, that colourful graphic certainly cheers up a wet Wednesday. Thank you.

It's my usual Wednesday routine today - dog training this afternoon, and OH and a friend working on the kit car all day. I think Eva's walk this morning might be quite a wet one, and I definitely won't be gardening.
