    Good morning everyone.

Nan2 I hope it's fine and bright like it is here for your day in town.

Daisy I love the photo and videos of Eva!

Enjoy your nature walk Lizzie. It's cold here despite the sun.

    No plans here today.

Good Saturday morning, everyone. The sun's shining here, but not sure how warm it is yet.

Lizzie, many thanks for the link to the successful photographer. I'll enjoy seeing that over a cup of tea in a minute. Enjoy your nature walk. I bet Sum1 will be very interested to see how nature compares with her locality.

Nanto, what a happy Spring graphic this morning. Thank you. Enjoy your shopping. My OH says the same - why move something when you can't see under it anyway!

Gem, thank you. We think Eva is very cute, but of course, we are biased! Enjoy your free day. Are you thinking about a trip out to the coast?
No plans for me either, but plenty to do - lots of odd jobs to finish off, plus some gardening. Everything is growing so quickly.

Nothing much happening here today but the sun is out, so perhaps I will make use of the sunroom. Might do some gardening.

Daisy, now I know what Eva looks like, she enjoys a fun tug of war.

Oma, what a huge job for your Sil, he certainly will be very tired. I bet it will look amazing.

        Lizzie, enjoy your walk.

Nanto Enjoy your trip into town, hope it keeps fine.

          Morning everyone
          Daisy
We laughed at Eva’s video 🤣 she wanted you to play not work , she’s adorable 🥰

          Lizzie
Hope you enjoy the walk will you be taking pictures I would like to see them,
Sum1 put her nature walks on FB they are fascinating and some very unusual flowers that we don’t really take notice of and that’s a shame as some are so delicate and beautiful.

          Gem
Did you Enjoy your shopping day , was Primark for S ? GS and Lucie were saying last night they want to go there for holiday clothes.

          Nanto
Hope you have a nice meal out for your Birthday treat 😁❤️

          Plant
Enjoy the sun room , Im sure the gardening can wait for another day xx

Its nice and bright but cold still,
B started scraping the moss out of the block paving on the drive yesterday and will finish that today , it’s looking cleaner and tidier already but it’s a job he can only do a bit at a time or his back hurts too much.
GS offered to do it but stubborn Grandad wants to do it himself 🙄

Picking MIL up at 3.30 takes us about 45 minutes to get to our Martins then onto the restaurant from there .
Hope she’s not in a moaning mood today .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Yes, Oma, OH likes Primark. She gets men's shorts and tops for golf. They have much nicer colours than the ladies ones! In fact 2 pairs of shorts are going back as they are too short for golf, and she will get some she saw in M&S but were not in her size.

Daisy we aren't planning to go out, we have few house and garden jobs to be doing. This morning 4 bags of plays and were delivered from Argos. We need to remove all the old sand, wash the sandpit out and put the nice new clean sand in. Now we have a whole free weekend as we wont be watching GD dance tomorrow, we have plenty of time.

Lizzie, thank you for the link to the wedding photographer. I've really enjoyed looking at his work. He's definitely a master of his craft with a good team behind him. I read about how he works and can see he does his homework beforehand. Things never go perfectly smoothly, and it's how you deal with them that makes a big difference.

Despite meticulous planning things outside your control can go wrong. We had everything, from brides in hysterics because they couldn't fasten their bra, or made their ear lobe bleeding trying to put earrings in with shaky hands, to it being Cup Final Day. That was the worst I think. All the men, including the groom, glued to the tv in the bar refusing point blank to leave it and the mature bride giving them a right telling off. It was hard work getting them all to calm down and relax so we could do what we were being paid for! The weather is always a big unknown, but also things like traffic diversions, collapsing wedding cakes, uncooperative vicars who just want you out of their church, key guests getting lost and being late, the bride with a dress skirt too large to fit into a toilet cubicle. We were lucky, we had plenty of back up equipment so didn't have to worry about anything breaking on the day, but I heard of one poor photographer, working alone, who had put all this gear behind the hotel reception desk where staff said they would keep an eye on it - and it disappeared - I hope the thief got their comeuppance!

It was physically demanding as well - often a 15 hour day, so I take my hat off to Gabriel and his team.

Daisy, it does sound like hard work, one of the men at the gym stopped doing weddings because of all the work stress! He did mention he was thinking of doing it again, he does get a lot of work in the business branch, he really enjoys that.

Lizzie, I really enjoyed doing weddings - there was always something different, but I loved to see everything come together. I didn't find it stressful (but I was obsessive about preparation) but I physically couldn't do it now.

Daisy. the weddings here are very different to the UK, one huge difference is that the photo's of the couple are taken on location, before the wedding!

                          Very smart Gemini.

Daisy, A lot of respsibility being a wedding photographer.

Lizzie, we went to a Spanish wedding years ago and after the ceremony we didn’t see the bride and groom again for ages, they were driven to various locations to have photos taken. They were so happy when then could join in the party.

                            Gem, I don't know about a thread, I could write a book!

I really like you new bathroom flooring - and your loo brush and holder, of course. The flooring is a little bit like our kitchen floor which is brilliant at not showing marks or muddy paw prints!

Good morning. It's a nice morning, hope it's as nice as yesterday, it was quite pleasant in the sun.

Gem,the new flooring looks lovely, and the new loo brush.

We need to nip out when the shops open for ink for the printer.

GD1 and her family are calling in today, they couldn't come yesterday as they were at a wedding.

Dinner is mince and onion, filling left over from when I made pies, that i froze, mash and veg.

I'll read back yesterday's posts later.

Good Sunday morning everyone. Pretty flowers, Nanto. I hope you had a lovely time yesterday. Today sounds like another day of birthday celebrations - enjoy seeing the family.

It's sunny, windy and so far chilly this morning, but at least I can hopefully get on with some gardening.

What is everyone else doing today?
