Plant, Marlow on Thames sounds lovely. Glad you enjoyed the lunch.

Rain has finally stopped and it brightened up a bit.
    Not warmed up though.

I went on my Asda order this morning for something i had forgotten.
There was a mesage to say Nescafe coffee has gone down in price from £7.10 to £5.
I did have one on the order, now i've got two.

Good heavens Nan2, its unusual for anything to go down in price! No wonder you got two.

That sounds a lovely day yesterday Plant.

Oma, OH is making a table for the sandpit to stand on (It already has a plastic lid) She needs to make a new top for the table. Then we will put the sandpit on and fill it with new sand

Lovely lunch and catch up with my friends after my aqua class. I think the rain has stopped now.

It’s still wet and cold here,

After GS had his breakfast and set off we went to B&M
I wanted tall planters for out the front mine are looking worse for wear,

Found some nice slate grey ones made from recycled tyres ,
They very heavy guaranteed not to break or fade for 10 years.
        They we’re £59.99 each

When we went into the garden part they were stuck together so the man who works in there separated them for us and gave me the price tag that had fell on the floor to hand to the cashier.

We got a lot of other stuff paid for it got home and I looked at my receipt,
I hadn’t thought when I was paying as we were chatting to the girl on the checkout , but something was niggling me ,

Looking at my receipt and realised she had only charged me £29.99 each so only paid £59.98 for the two.
Obviously the price tag the man gave me fell off the small ones and he thought it was from them .

        Well pleased 😁

Oma, what a bargain with the planters. What are you going to grow in them? Storm knows how to use his nose for speciall effects on glass, doesn't he!

Gem, how did aqua go this morning? I hope your back is ok this week. Sorry, our posts crossed this morning. S must be so fed up with the golf course being closed.

Nanto, it must be the day for bargains with your coffee and Oma's planters. How did the window cleaning go?

Plant, Megans sounds lovely. I don't recognise the name, but it would be nice to think there are more branches.

It's been cold and wet here. I put the heating on at lunch time!

We have had Missy, next door's dog today, while they took their visitors to the Hawk Conservancy Trust. She's such a good dog, but instantly remembers where the treat are kept! I've rehung the curtains and cleared one ironing basket.

Window cleaning went well. Need the Window cleaner to come now.

Oma, well done getting the planters for that price.

              Bargain planters Oma!

Daisy, aqua was fine. Our instructor was away but this one was much better than the last replacement we had!
The golf course was open today but as it was just 3 friends playing they decided not to battle the rain!

Nan2 we must do some indoor window cleaning! Especially the patio doors which become covered in baby E's fingerprint

                Daisy
They will stand each side of my window with Ball box hedge in ,
I want to hide the car charger and the outside plug socket box we use at Christmas , hate seeing all the wires and boxes .

Oma, he looks so grown up, smart and very handsome. The planters will do a good job as well as being a bargain.

Gem, I suppose it's always a bit of a lottery when you have a different instructor. Glad this one was better than the last temporary one. I don't blame S not battling with the weather - it must be very off putting, and we've had so much rain this winter. Patterns on the windows/glass are one of a toddlers' first art form.

Nanto, does it mean more rain when your window cleaner comes?

I took Eva out about 7.30 tonight. It was light, which is nice, but so cold, I was almost shivering.

Good morning. Had a bit of a shower, don't know what the forecast is.

                          Smart young man there Oma.

Going to change the bedding and clean upstairs.

Daisy, you can guarantee it will rain when the window cleaner has been. Don't know when he's due, suppose that depends on the weather.

Dinner is chicken and bacon lattice, mash, veg and gravy.

                            Good morning everyone.

Daisy we were noticing how cold the evening temperatures still are.

                            Nan2 that lattice sounds nice.

Usual Tuesday here. Library morning and GS1 from school this afternoon. We need a few things so I will go to Sainsbury's in the village after the library.

Chicken stir fry for our dinner tonight.
