Oma, OH has painted our garden fence grey, obviously great minds think alike


Although it was sunny yesterday, there was a definite chill in the breeze, a jacket was needed when out and about
Appointment with podiatrist went well apart from the payment of it, it has gone up again!

Spoke to DS yesterday, he is suffering badly with hayfever at the moment and I know for sure I won't be far behind him with the symptoms ☹

Don't have anything planned for today.

It is a lovely morning, I have been to the gym and done my shopping, circuit later on this morning, I want to get a skirt cut out first.

Gem, you would enjoy having GS1, they grow so fast! I had a surprise visit from GD1 last night, she was out on her bike and thought she would call in to see me!

Ladies, I am on of the few that don't mind ironing, I don't do much nowadays but when I did I always found it relaxing, time to clear my mind.

Oma, I hope you keep improving now you have stopped your tablets, I had a strange reaction to tablets for my bladder, they seemed to stop my bowel movement so I had to stop them.

I do hope you can get your knee done Gem.

I am going to make a start on the skirt.

Ther's a possibility we could be eating at the pub today,if other family can make it today.

My SIL & GS1 both get it , so their household are all snuffles and runny eyes 😁

We like to get out first thing to do shopping etc , Im not good with crowded shops plus if it’s a big supermarket B has to use his wheelchair as he can’t walk that far and it’s surprising how inconsiderate some people can be when there’s someone in a wheelchair.

I agree with the Jersey royals they are no where near as tasty as they were and they don’t have the soil on like they used to.
I think that held the taste in , just my theory 😁

Dog will be arriving soon he will be wanting his treats ,
Got Chicken out for him last night to defrost and what I thought was thighs was two big breasts so he’s getting the best today
He likes it with rice and the juices from the chicken mixed in 😁

I am so much better today I have dusted all the bedrooms including around the ceilings ,cleaned the bathroom ,
Dusted and polished downstairs cleaned loo and done the dishes with no breathing problems at all .
I feel so much more myself today .

We don't have a particular plant in mind. It's a very big planter S won a few years ago which was beautifully planted out with a variety of flowering plants. We have refilled it with bedding plants each year but this time we fancy just a blaze of colour from one plant.

Good Wednesday morning, everyone.

What I thought would be a nice leisurely morning has become a bit of a rush! We've just had a message from the window people saying they'll be here at 10.30 to replace a blown window in the kitchen. They tried to do it about 3 weeks ago but the replacement was the wrong size! Now the doorbell's just gone and I'm not even showered and dressed!

So hopefully the rest of the day will work better! It's dog training this afternoon and OH and I are going out for dinner tonight. OH was keeping the venue as a surprise, but the venue phoned on Monday to confirm the booking, and guess who answered the phone! I don't mind it not being a surprise, because it's the best restaurant I've ever been to. Very relaxed and unpretentious, beautiful but quite rustic surroundings and fantastic food and service. I'm so looking forward to it.

I'll try and catch up later, but thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes, lovely friends. xxx

Oma, I am so so pleased your are feeling like your old self again BUT do not overdo things. I noticed a cobweb on my ceiling when I got into bed last night, it is time for the mop out. Have a lovely day with the dog, I am sure he will enjoy his chicken.

Daisy, my father used to have terrible hay fever, fortunately I have not inherited it.

Lizzie, when I used to make some of my clothes, I was always anxious to get started.

I had an early visit from a local carpenter to discuss what to do with my sunroom. We agreed it doesn’t sound like a good idea to repair its any further so I am going to halve a new one. They will take away the old one, which was a worry I had. I had already looked at new ones but the taking down and taking away the old one was a worry. The carpenter is local and came with recommendations from the local website.

Good Aquafit session and coffee with my friend.
A big dog ( golden Labrador maybe) with a blue collar was running excitedly around the leisure centre including the cafe! No one knew who he/she belonged to. Then a very stressed lady with harness lead arrived and set about trying to catch the dog. When we left a little while later we saw her outside, dog now on lead, upset and crying and an elderly couple talking to her. We presumed it was the relief and stress of losing him

We we’re all out looking for him desperate and fearful he would get to a road .
When we found him we still cried for ages just because he was safe 😁 softies I know .

Cloudy and cool here too Nan2, but nice sunny days forecast for tomorrow and Saturday

GSs 2 and 3 for the day today. DD2 is working away today, so we have moved GS2's day to today to fit in with that. GD is back at school. It will be lovely to have both the boys. They enjoy each others company and GS2 will have my time whilst the baby naps.
